It is already on and cooking on hob but yes i think i need to buy a bigger casserole dish. I do have a slow cooker and often use that when i am at work but i was in alafternoon so was meant to be putting in oven then but had somone turn up so i never got it started and on grrrr. I normally cook it in the oven though. But now we are trying to eat more veg i cant fit it in my normal dishStill TryingGrocery challenge July 2016

Ive merged this with our slow cooker casserole thread. I think slow cooking is best where possible so it can tenderise the meat. You could prep it all the day before, brown the meat and keep it in the fridge and put all the veg and liquid etc in the slow cooker to be switched on in the morning?
