Just wait until your out of work and they push you into a job where you can't afford to pay all your bills.
How much does it cost you to go ten miles?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Thats quite a big hole in your pay before you start paying for anything else.
Where do you live? £6.40 is pretty high for a return ticket. Could you not have got a season ticket?
You may have been entitled to other benefits whilst in work. Did you actually bother to ask the JCP for a calculation, or did you just decide not to apply without investigating further?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Put it this way mate if someone comes up to you in work and says, you have to start working in the other branch and its going to cost you an extra £32 a week, would you like it?
Thought not0 -

But that was not what happened. They are not trying to vary your current conditions of employment, as you do not have a job! I still see no grounds for appeal.Gone ... or have I?0 -

By taking that job I would have been worse off than i am with no job.
I apply for any job that i think i am capable of and that will make me a little bit better off than i am now. I think that is very reasonable.
The main point is...I applied for the job that paid a bit better and didn't involve much travelling. Pretty sensible i thought.
It wasn't as though I had refused to look for work.0 -

You have not demonstrated how you would be worse off in work. As asked earlier, did you ask the JCP for a calculation of your in work entitlement?Gone ... or have I?0 -

I always thought the idea of being in work was to stand on your own two feet and not be a burden on society. If your working you should be able to pay everything out of your wage.
Why should i apply for tax cedits or whatever if i'm in work?
Also, how long would said benefits take till I had the cash in my hand?
Meanwhile I would have to pay out a lot of money I didn't really have.0 -
