    I thought the accident was actually caused by sub contractors to bp ... an american drilling company. Can anyone confirm this? Because if this is the case, what are the yanks actually on? Maybe BP shouln't of trusted an american drilling complany to do , well, drilling ?

    In the oil industry the lead Company, in this case BP, has overall responsibility. Unfortunatelty some of the people that could have explained precisely what happened are dead. A full investigation is underway, as soon as the precise causes are determined then it will be announced.

    RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
