How about exxon and the valdez clean up costs , now they want to change the law retrospectively , but not apply it to exxon.

What about the fact they caused the world economic crisis , then protected the banks that did it with both chapter 11 and tarp monies.The americans have prospered by , and because of , the econimic crisis , both world wars , illegal invasions , trade wars and now the brits are the new taliban.

What ever the cost of the clean up you know who pays in the end, us the end user at the pump. PS the valve that failed and started the leak was it made by a US firm ???

i thoght oil companies had a statutory limit on their liability. bp should have hgiven them that and gone.

I wonder if there will ever be an official enquiry into this incident. My money is on deliberate American sabotage, then destroy a foreign oil company. Trust me the American government will and can do this sort of thing.
