big wow 11 dead yanks on a yank oil rig ,an american one that was working for bp , where does the responsibilty lie with the owner operators for their staf?

.Did u see it on tv every time the bp exec said we never put safety second , every question or response from the witchunters was saying that they did.

How many iraqis have died for american oil , and american companies?

How about american occidental and piper alpha , 167 dead.

How about exxon and the valdez clean up costs , now they want to change the law retrospectively , but not apply it to exxon.

wake up people the yanks want to knock down the price of bp to take it over at bargain basement.... bit like the eu did about rbs when you think about it , one rule for us and one rule for you about state ownership.

Dont get me started on the media being controlled by political and financial companies in the USA , wasnt so long ago they were attacking toyota. And lets not forget the fatally designed american cars , but hey they never made it outside the usa.

What about the fact they caused the world economic crisis , then protected the banks that did it with both chapter 11 and tarp monies. The americans have prospered by , and because of , the econimic crisis , both world wars , illegal invasions , trade wars and now the brits are the new taliban.

You dont need a sore hole to know you are being well fxxxed.....and you can grate you teeth as they say "have a nice day , please come again" afterwards.
You forgot to mention Bhopal, not oil but the same principal.
Did the Indian government set up a similar tribunal.?

BP have made mistakes - I get that - but the Amerians they are such hypocrites they have done such terrible things to other people and look at them .....

What really p1sses me off is the failure plans of say Exxon, if they had better crisis management backup surely Obama would have called them in.

Republic of Seychelles need a good bashing & there must be a reason we can link them to the US apart from the fact they have a U & an S in their name.

I don't think the name thing will wash after Afghanistan.

The Taliban don't have many weapons and they seem to be taking the US and Europe on

Probably being fed & trained by the Russian the same as we fed & trained them when Russia was in there.

Russia had 10 times the numbers of troops everyone had 2 years ago (dont know the numbers today) & more fire power & they left with their tails between their legs.
