Just bought my first house and need broadband.
I ordered AOL the other day but cancelled this morning after seeing Valgee's comments.
I had contemplated TT because of its International Calling feautre. My sister lives in Spain so it will be very useful being able to call her for free.
So I have just ordered with TT. I shall report back with how I find things as and when progress is made.0 -

Yes have read it all.
Whilst an overwhelming majority of comments about them is negative I thought they were worth a try given the package they offer.
With the bad press they have and probably will continue to receive there is little doubt that they will be working hard to improve things. I aint too desperate for the internet immediately, so I can remain patient for the time being and give them a chance to impress.
I'm sure they will get it right, even if it takes time. Just hopefully not too long.0 -

I am having problems connecting to tt broadband.
Have you satified customers connnected by using the modem provided by them and the software provided or have you opted for a router.
thanks for any help

Whilst I sympathise with all those who have or are still having problems, I must say I've been impressed.
Modem arrived nearly a month earlier than expected and the software set up and instalation was a breeze.
Bills clear and easy to understand and the instaled fault finder software has sorted out any niggles I've had.

i went for the modem they suggested/provided, because although i'm sure it was probably overpriced (i have no idea really, i'm just cynical) but at least if i do have problems they can't pass the buck in that way by saying i didn't buy the "right" one.Wiggly:heartpulsFB0 -
should i be choosing their modem if i already have a netgear wireless modem?0

No point buying a poxy USB modem if you already have a good router which is much better!

Spoke to two people at the footie this weekend who are on talktalk. They were both impressed with the service and said I have made a good choice.
Only time will tell I suppose.0 -
