it's doing you a favour. There are much better security suites out there such as the kaspersky and avira suites.

If you really want to install norton 360 then try opening my computer and double clicking the cd drive. If that doesn't work try right clicking the cd drive, clicking explore and look for a file called setup & try double clicking it

thanks but i cannot find a link to my computer or the cd drive. Marion

Goto START (Bottom left of screen)
Goto MY COMPUTER and open it
Your disc drive will be in there

It is computer and not my computer in vista - very good memory. I didn't even realise until now it wasn't my computer.

Actually Gaming_Guy, Norton is one of the best, only uses 10mb of memory and is 68% better overall performing and 37% faster scanning than any other AV on the market. Checkout the benchmarks it's head and shoulders above the rest, it's also about the only one you can install on a netbook without grinding it to a halt.

Go download a decent free anti virus like avira avast or microsoft security essentials, we don't want to help you put junk like Norton on your PC as you'll only be back within 2 months complaining about all the viruses you've got for relying on an AV with the effectiveness of a wet paper bag.

Marion, use your Norton, the new Norton is just fine, hope you come back to this thread later :)
