thanks for your advise. Do you think i should wait for buyer's response or just email her ! explain everything
Hi I would just email the buyer and point out the fact that the moblie phone you sent her has come back in your report from checkmend as fine and not a fake and not stolen and give them the verification link that goes with your report for the phone you sold them.
Then direct your buyer to this link http://pages.ebay.co.uk/buy/guides/mobile-phone-advice/
and tell them that is why you used checkmend to give you an acurate report as that site is reccomended by both ebay and the police as being the top site for this kind of check for fake or stolen goods.
They may then change their mind about claiming it is fake as you have some very strong supporting evidence thet the phone is not fake and think about it anybody can scan a letterhead and type out a letter stating anything but your report from checkmend cannot be faked as its contents can be verified online.
Also if you do need to phone ebay or paypal about this make sure they also have the verification link as evidence that your phone is genuine and it would not hurt your case if when talking to them you mentioned that anybody can scan a letterhead and type out a letter stating anything they want to write about your phone but your report cannot be tampered with as checkmend have the original copy of the report they sent you online.

The problem is here though that the moment paypal see a report on any sort of Nokia headed paper they will refund regardless of whatever scrutiny the OP gives to the report.

    Really? Anything?

12th May means she is out of time for a paypal claim.

If you are happy that what you sent wasn't fake, the buyer is out of any PP dispute period, so you are able to cease communication.

If you decide to ignore her further, ensure you block her from your listings.

    well another emal today:

''Hi again and many thanks for reply - sorry I havent been too well so didnt respond - YES I still have the phone - apparently there are so many fakes now that Nokia dont insist they are destroyed = Pay Pal would and as you know I was hopinmg not to follow thAT ROUTE. I am really sorry that your friend thoughgt she was getting you something nice - tell people NOT to buy phones from overseas.
Unlike others in the past that have sold fake phones KNOWING they are fake I DO NOT THINK THAT WAS YOUR INTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are OK with it I will split the difference = I DO have the report from Nokia Tech but really dont want to send to Pay Pal etc. M y phone no is ++++++++++++
    Many thankd''

so i got a feeling she wants to play a game!bring it on!
i asked her again to send me that report so i can take it further.

Ignore them they are obviously trying it on to get some cash back, you'd just be dragging it out by responding.
I had similar with a designer bag i sold once, the buyer got a bargain as they won it for £100 when it was a £500 bag new. Anyway they waited 2months to email and tell me the bag was fake. It wasn't but if it had been why would it take someone 2mths to decide it was fake. More like they'd finished with it/damaged it and want their money back. I just ignored/blocked them.

She;s so out of time now she must think you are a really dim one to keep trying this on. She's also well out of time for an ebay claim..so ignore her.
