Challenges I have set myself after reading Memory Girl's thread:

    1) Buffer Zone - level 1 is 84 pounds(1 weeks wages)

I am going to stash away anything I can.Have decided to do this in tiny steps to make it achievable.
    1st target is 21 pounds - 25%

    2) P.A.D of 50p into debt pot.
1st target to use to pay off catalogue as soon as possible

    3) 15 minute housework/jobs bursts.

That's it for now, but got plenty to think about!

After a buzy weekend, with thought whirling around I have started to make plans for improving my quality of life, whilst debt- busting.

Want to achieve by end of Dec:
    1) New job
    2)De- clutter house
    3)Decorate kitchen
    4)Reach 1st Buffer zone
    5)Pay off catalogue
6)Tidy and finish odd jobs in garden
    7)Take out contents insurance.
    8)Buy/make living room cushions
    9)Reduce smoking to 15 a day.

These are not in any order of importance just my 1st steps.

This weeks extra cooking was 3lb tomatoe chutney and 2lb spiced crab apples(very yummy).

Off to find lunch now and then start a bit of housework.

This week is being quite good so far!

Money will be a bit better this week as with doing BIL's cleaning, my old ladies house and babysitting tonight I should be about 50pound better off.:j:j:j
Babysitting money will be split into debt pot, saving pot and spend pot.

I won't allow myself a frivilous spend until there's money in ther spend pot.

Going to have lunch and then have got to:
    1) Pick all tomatoes and ripe veg
    2)ironing
    3) Find my Freecycle settings (lost everything when lappy was poorly)
4)Write shopping list from menu plan

Positive thinking and babysteps seems to be the way forward.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • yeah, baby steps i am with you on that one.

Menus must get my head around this one. I do a next day one but look at doing a weekly one. Put that in one of my chunks, this afternoon.

Well done on your £50 income, brilliant

Tonights babysitting cancelled ( so i5 pound down on extra) but on a positive note changed to next Thursday - so all not lost.

Picked loads of tomatoes just got to ripen some and decide what to do with them.
Great excitment got baby sprouts coming!

I guess ironing has to be the next job today.

I like the idea of the buffer zone, I might try and steal that idea. I've bookmarked MGs thread but haven't got round to reading it yet.

Back again after being laptopless for over a week. I swear if OH does anything else to cause me to be laptopless again I will do something drastic to him.

Quick update as have gone and got a bit behind again as without my diary I couldn't focus! It's definately going public - but it works so who cares.

    Still to do this week:
    Ironing
    2 week menu plans
    Grocery shop

Have been some good things happening. I'm sure positive thinking and asking the Universe for things has benefits.

    1) Changed my dentist and have found a new one who doesn't care that I am exempt. 10 days later am well on the way to sorting out my gum problems which have been effecting my general health.:j
    2) Had a good job interview and realized this is very much the wrong job for me. Need now to clarify what I do want.
    3) OH is slowly improving on the clinical trial:j
Right off for a bit must get back to 15 minutes.
