I am pleased this is being extended to July 12th as our Fridge is on its way out (milk, meat etc keeps going off within like a day of being bought) and we need a new one lol

Do you get to choose if you want a fridge/freezer or fridge or freezer if you are picked?

You select your preference during the registration process, but there's no guarantee that's the machine you'll be offered if successful

I noticed N POWER have a representative on here. I wondered if they could give us an idea if there is an expected date for the servers to be up and running again? I have been trying since this was first emailed out by MSE with no success.

    Thanks in advance

Maybe I am being peculiar here, but as this is meant to be an excllusive for MSEers, how are you going to ensure the fridges go out to the members, especially those that were members before the offer was posted?

I ask because I have seen this offer mentioned in several places across the net, and I have even seen it on Offer Oasis (though I cannot find it there now), and it would be slightly annoying to find the chances of loyal MSE members diluted by those rushing to join for this offer, or even applying from outside the site.

    Jane,

I have been on the email list and read the forums for several years, but I only became a "member" yesterday to post the query. I am sure others just visit the site as and when they need but are not on email - so does that mean they should be excluded? How could MSE possibly monitor this?

Accepting MSEs reservations about the motives, I think the offer of 900 fridges is great - regardless of who they go to.

Well done MSE for negotiating it.

MSE just told us about the deal. Its not an exclusive MSE offer.

Its open to everyone, not just MSE'ers

I think it is an exclusive, as on the MSE page with the info it says further down the page:
The reason we managed to blag these exclusively for MoneySavers, is we were given some misinformation about a recent energy monitor deal, and this is to make up for that (to clarify there's no commercial link though).

But it is open to anyone, as you say, you don't need to be part of MSE.
