William Hill are offering 3 x free £10 bets if you place a £10 on the WC. The free bets are not provided until the original bet is 'settled' i.e. the event has taken place, so not good for betting your initial £10 on the ultimate winner.
I bet on Holland to beat Denmark, won £15 (well £5 as £10 was my original stake), and now have 3 free £10 bets which I have spread across potential winners overall (Spain, Germany and England ).
Might put my £5 winning on Brazil and hopefully have all bases covered (well apart from Holland and Argentina!!)0 -

It's not entirely clear but it is risky IMO, I think people at HUKD have done this and been refunded. That horse would be a decent payout if it won and bookmakers love to use any kind of excuse to refuse to payout.0 -
Maybe OP should update the first post with some info about the promo. There are some pitfalls if you're not careful.
- The bet has to be on the World Cup settled by July 12th (inclusive).
- If you're outside the UK, check with CS if your country is eligable as you may not be.
- Accumulators count, the bet has to be the whole £20 in one go.
- You may need to supply two forms of ID when withdrawing (if using Electron/Solo it's likely as under 18's can get these cards).
- New customers only, existing or past customers do not qualify.
- Refunds are auto credited but contact CS if not received within 3 days.
- When withdrawing it could take several days for the money to hit your bank.
- Don't use a credit card to deposit, the CC company will treat it as a 'cash advance' and charge through the nose.
- Only 1 per household, do not try and take advantage using your mother's, friend's or dog's details as 888 will find out and refuse to payout.
yeah i wish this had been put up before i made my deposit.
i used a credit card thinking it would count as a purchase, not a cash advance.:(0 -

Mmmm, just sent them an email asking them to confirm.
That annoys me though. They know which countries are eligible and which aren't to begin with. So why not just set up the system to give you a message stating that your country is not eligible, when you register? Seems silly not to.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -

It states they have to be 'real money sport bets'. That would imply that you can bet on any sport. (I hope as I have placed mine on the Wimbledon tennis)MFiT - T2 # 64start date: 1.7.09 MFW end date: 31.10.17

I just put £20.00 on David Villa to be the first goal scorer @ 4/1.
Just to let people know who are backing Torres in this field; sky sports are saying he may start on the bench today (not sure if you get your money back, if this is true)0 -
If you click on promotions and then click on new players it doesnt even mention its a WC offer. Just says...
"You can’t lose. Guaranteed. Make your first bet at 888sport. If you win, you win! If you lose, you get your money back up to £20."
I'm doing my horsey. Wish me luck!0 -
