The biggest one I've seen so far was on HUKD, someone with a 14 game accumulator which if successful pays out £135,000.

Hm, I've just seen 'Time of First Goal'

Can I split up my 20 over 4 selections?

Maybe OP should update the first post with some info about the promo. There are some pitfalls if you're not careful.

    • The bet has to be on the World Cup settled by July 12th (inclusive).
    • If you're outside the UK, check with CS if your country is eligable as you may not be.
    • Accumulators count, the bet has to be the whole £20 in one go.
    • You may need to supply two forms of ID when withdrawing (if using Electron/Solo it's likely as under 18's can get these cards).
    • New customers only, existing or past customers do not qualify.
    • Refunds are auto credited but contact CS if not received within 3 days.
    • When withdrawing it could take several days for the money to hit your bank.
    • Don't use a credit card to deposit, the CC company will treat it as a 'cash advance' and charge through the nose.
    • Only 1 per household, do not try and take advantage using your mother's, friend's or dog's details as 888 will find out and refuse to payout.

    What's a 'cash advance'? I'm using a Visa Electron debit card (yes, I'm 18) - I won't get charged extra will I?

Wish I'd have read this through properly, all the hassle with photo ID when cashing out! How can you even do that? :s

Anyway, my probably useless bet was 3-0 to England for Friday's game with Algeria. Seems like a total waste now haha :o

I'm pretty sure that won't count, you won't be able to do that as an accumulator because each selection contradicts the others.

A cash advance is when you use a credit card to deposit to a gambling organisation, the CC company will charge you. It's not the same as a normal CC purchase.

An Electron is a debit card so that is fine, there will be no extra charge. The only issue with using an Electron is you probably will have to supply ID when withdrawing (because under 18's can get Electron cards).

You're not the first to say that which is why I think OP should update the first post with the bullet points that I mentioned in post 46.

Just scan your drivers licence and passport (if they ask for two forms), or take a photo using a digital camera, then send them in an email. I would block out some of the barcodes etc on the passport but leave most of it or they might ask to see it without any bits removed.

Has anyone living in the UK won or lost their bet then withdrew the money without having to provide ID? I do not have a scanner or fax machine! I am over 18 and will use a debit card (not electron).

Yes there have been people on HUKD that have not had to provide ID. Frankly though if you can't supply any ID, don't take part in the promo because simply using a 18+ debit card will not guarantee that you can withdraw without ID.

Most digital cameras can take a good enough photo of an ID, doesn't have to be from a scanner or fax.

Or you could ask a friend if you can use their scanner? Or at work? Maybe even the library? (not sure about that one though).

Just be sure that you don't leave any copies of the scanned ID's on anyone else's computer. ie, send it, then delete from the computer (including the trash can).
