hi, right i'm going to sound so dumb but....i have never done bets on football etc online and don't know where to start even. :rotfl:
i have reg'd which part of site do i go to? i really dont understand the betting odds sorry guys any help and i'd be greatful
On the right hand side of the site click Display Odds, then select Decimal. IMO decimal odds are much easier to understand. To estimate the return from a bet you just multiply the decimal odds by the amount you're thinking of betting. Example odds of 1.5 with a £10 bet would return £15 (includes the original £10).
What you first need to decide is whether you want to go for a long shot that will pay out big money (but obviously probably won't be successful), or a medium risk which would be like 50/50, medium payout, could go either way, or do you want a very safe bet which is likely to be successful but will only pay a small amount.
Personally I went for an 'accumulator' which is where you choose multiple selections which all have to be successful for the bet to be successful. Example I predicted the outcome of 5 matches and predicted germany and holland to win their groups.
You will need to deposit your £20 before you can place any bet. Also the bets must be on the world cup. I suggest you just have a browse through the odds by clicking on world cup matches on the left. Good Luck.0 -

My boyfriend also opened accounts as a new customer with Ladbrokes and Paddy Power just to take advantage of the free bets that they were giving away! He has managed to earn himself £70 worth of bets by only waging £20!0

Maybe OP should update the first post with some info about the promo. There are some pitfalls if you're not careful.
- The bet has to be on the World Cup settled by July 12th (inclusive).
- If you're outside the UK, check with CS if your country is eligable as you may not be.
- Accumulators count, the bet has to be the whole £20 in one go.
- You may need to supply two forms of ID when withdrawing (if using Electron/Solo it's likely as under 18's can get these cards).
- New customers only, existing or past customers do not qualify.
- Refunds are auto credited but contact CS if not received within 3 days.
- When withdrawing it could take several days for the money to hit your bank.
- Don't use a credit card to deposit, the CC company will treat it as a 'cash advance' and charge through the nose.
- Only 1 per household, do not try and take advantage using your mother's, friend's or dog's details as 888 will find out and refuse to payout.

not sure who else to go for but thanks again anywayhave now given up smoking since feb 13th 2014 loving the money I'm saving0 -
I just signup up and credited my account with £20 (so I thought!)
The page was taking ages to load and when it finally did my balance showed £40?!
So I rang them up and they are telling me that I must have clicked it twice or something.
Seems like a dodgy company to me! They are now opening an investigation.
Having a look at their cash out policy it seems like a bit of a mission to get your money out... You have to send them photo id.
Wish I didn't bother now!0 -

It wouldn't let me use paypal as it said the domain was in the wrong country or something, so used debit card. Bet on the Argentina/England game-not sure what I actually bet but it was 11/1! so £240 if I win.0

Did you click the submit button again because it was taking ages? Might have done two deposits if so.0
