Just thought I'd mention I've had a sneak preview at my local. The Xbox offer is continuing tomorrow. Game of the Week (starting tomorrow) will be Dead Rising on the xbox, Lego Star Wars on PS2, Brain Game on DS and I think it was Gangs of London on PSP.
Keep your eyes open for out of date posters with the game charts and game of the week on!
HTH!
PS Which PC's / laptops have been r&r'd recently? I could really do with one!0 -

Very helpful, thanks. Definitely worth an early morning trip to as many stores as possible to see if any of them still have Saints Row for the Xbox 360 as Game of the Week.0 -
Couple of questions.
1) Does the xbox offer apply any time the game of the week poster is out of date
2) Can u do it will the psp or other consoles
thanks0 -

What time do the tills update? I've got 2 stores nearby that are 24 hours with xbox 360's in stock. (1 of which refused r+r because the GOTW on the shelf was prey and the poster said Saints row - should have checked the poster not just the shelf)I like free - it's my favourite price

I am all new to this and have had a brief look through the previous threads but cant find what I am after. I was wondering (and call me stupid, if you like) when you go to cs for a r&r and you have several items do you ask for a refund for all these items at the same time or do you do it seperately. Sorry if this seems a daft question but I thought I should get all my facts before I try for a r&r.
Many thanks in advance
I dont know about everyone else but you never ask for a refund. I just inform them tat I have been charged more than the shelf label or the sticker what ever it is. leave it up to them to tell you your getting a refund, if they offer you the diference ask them how does that bit on the bottom of the sign work or point to the small A5ish sign usually attached to the arm of the display on the till/checkout it also displays the same as the blue board.
the number of items you get that are over charged is a dificult one the most I have ever gone for is 3 and they were all games with a sticker telling me the price which is a clear cut r+r very little argueing ever in these cases and you can get away with just buying those items without being questioned to why are you buying these and it is funny you were overcharged on them all. Items like meat I will only ever go for if I am buying other stuff to make it look like part of the shopping but I will always buy some that is correct that I buy each week anyway so it doesnt look like I went all out for the mispriced stuff. That is another good tip if you want to get a handfull of games get a bunch of mispriced games and then stick a few correctly priced ones in there buy them all get the refund on the mispriced ones and return the others at a later date as long as they are un opened it shouldnt be a problem. It is a little long winded but it helps preserve your cover of a serial r+rer.
just going buying ALL r+r will stand out like a sore thumb, I know people have done it in the past and I will in the future but never in a store I visit near me !!!!ting on your own doorstep isnt somthing I want to do0 -
