woo, i've got more R+R than Mcdognap now!!!!
i'm sure i'll find more later today
2 Xboxes in Glasgow and then a Washing machine in Plymouth in the same day.......Sounds iffy to me.....Macdonag was asked to prove his RnRs some time ago, which he did by showing the receipts.......I think you should do the same.......You sound to me like a "wind-up" merchant......0 -
According to Hotpoint website
the model hsp1337 doesn't existBack to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -
Firstly can I say that this is aimed at no individual people whatsoever, its an observation generally.
I think bleugh has very subtly made a point about the changing nature of this thread. I've been following it since number 3 or 4 i think, as a general interest.
The thread has always had a group of "regulars" that stick around, and also had different people who come and go, others who kick up a fuss and never return etc.. Basically just discussing misprices, what they've managed, what they've failed on and generally comparing stories. Misprices were reported fairly often, on all sorts from chocolate bars, mispriced Kg on meat, roast in the bag chickens etc... Every now and again someone would manage a bigger item which would cause a stir but soon it would be back to those chickens!
Recently it has changed. All of a sudden there are a lot of new names appearing in the thread, and new registrants to the forum. Every other thread seems to be "How can I get my free X-Box". Then we'll get "I didn't get my free X-Box! I'm so angry" followed by "Goddam Tesco overcharging grannies all year, how dare they!" and not forgetting "I'm off to trading standards how dare they not give me a free X-Box"
Setting Aero chunky's aside, how often do misprices on normal items appear over the 40 pages of this thread?
Like I said, I'm not having a go at anyone in particular. This is a public bored and everyone is free to post what they want. Just an observation.0 -

I met an RnR er on my travels yesterday...who doesnt post on here, but posts in a private forum???....
When I mentioned laptops....he said it was a scam and wasn't true...it was only to upset the posters on the MSE forum.........
I didnt post this yesterday, as there was no evidence0 -

Found some more of these today.:o
Went to a Tesco Metro today for the first time and was amazed how many old sels were still up compared to the bigger stores. Does anyone have much luck with Metros and Expresses?0 -

You can dress it up like that if you want, but deliberately posting non-existent misprices in order to mislead people and send them on wild goose chases is, in my opinion, an attempt to wreck the thread for everyone. I can't see anything subtle about it. It's just malicious and childish.0 -

I tend to only go to these, as there's only one full-sized tesco near me in London. They can be pretty good, as they're often so busy that they don't have time to check sel's, and also I suspect that they do fewer R&R's than bigger stores, as people tend to rush through them on lunch or the way home. I've found Finest meat misprices in several stores, and generally no hassle. OTOH, you won't find an Xbox in a tiny Metro store!2015 comp wins - £370.25
Recent wins: gym class, baby stuff
Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -

I think Xboxes have been done to death now. During that mad weekend I must've been one of the few people who genuinely bought a Nintendo DS from Tesco. Must admit I've had several mispriced games though, but my daughter will be having a few extra pressies at the end of the month.
In normal Tescos I have no problem doing my shopping then taking the meat/aeros/etc misprices to CS, but there wasn't one in the Metro and the queues at the one open till were very long. How do you play it then? Do you go back to the checkout?0 -
I would be very grateful if someone could post the usual prices of each of PS2, Xbox etc (without the games ). Thanks.0

I got my xbox from a metro - they seem to have slightly different posters to the bigger stores.0
