and talking about managers....and staff......is your night manager, always the same person.....do Tesco staff work shifts, or is the day manager the same person all the time, and does this apply to all staff......sounds a bit muxed ip that....but i think you'll get the jist...

Quick one on the Tescos knowingly overcharge thing - when I got my r&r on the xbox today one of the cs staff said 'oh yes, we know about this - it happened yesterday' So they had prior knowledge of customers being overcharged and still didn't change any of the advertising material.

They did it once and left the POS in place for it to happen again?!?

There is no benefit to the store in overcharging (in fact the opposite!). And I certainly don't think its corporate policy. As mentioned earlier, most often it is down to human error....or as here, grade a-class 1 stupidity.

Night managers normally work 10pm-7am, slight variation occasionally (8-5 or 12-9 etc).

Day managers work shifts between 7am and 10pm (again sometimes earlier starts/later finishes).

Although they get the anti-social hours, night managers do get a more set routine.

If you are talking about the 10% off phone leaflets.....they aren't always near the phones....I looked at all the phones for 20 minutes in one store yesterday......was about to leave empty handed when I spotted a 5 foot display near the store entrance....turned round and picked up an SLVR...got RnR no bother....Display immediately removed.

Please note that in all posts I made regarding the comment you made on the misprice thread, I used the conditional progressive tense. I said "You would be doing...if..." rather than you will do or that you are definitely going to do. At no point did I say that you have done it or that you are definitely going to do it. I was clarifying the legal position for others. I went on to say that I hope you decide against doing anything like you've suggested on the misprice thread, as it could well cost you your job.



People here commented because you made the initial post on the misprices thread. Most people know it's illegal to do what you said you would be doing with those leaflets. I'd say some of those who commented did so because they were worried about you taking such a risk (myself included), rather than commenting because they dislike you.

Not just that but the “Wombleing” lark advertised in his signature will get himself arrested if caught. I’ve had 2 successful prosecutions this year after catching people doing it.
