Saying it and doing it are two totally different things. I accept your explanation and aplogise if I came across to strongly, but I don't like my name being banded about like that. I'm sure you understand.

Had an excellent day today....£638 of freebies....with only 1 hiccup.....

In the prepacked meat chillers it is becoming more noticeable everyday that Tescos are reducing prices on certain sizes of roasts but not others.....

Yesterday I had problems where British Beef T/S T/R and SS roasts were reduced to £5.18kg on the medium size packs....but 18inches along the shelf were smaller packs priced at £6.54.....I did a deal in one store....but got RnR in others with no problem

Today I noticed a similar thing with Finest Scottish T/S.T/R and SS roasts. There was a 6 inch square yellow Sel saying £6.29kg....reduced from £7.29kg.
I looked through and spotted a few marked £7.29...... but 18 inches along the shelf were boxes with £7.29 on them...

Took CS and meat man? to product, where he said that the prices were correct as it was THIS box that was £6.29...and THOSE boxes that were £7.29kg....

I told him I picked them from the £6.29 box (well I would say that.....wouldn't I)

He started throwing the meat out of one box into the other....showing me it was the customers who mix them up......I asked him if he thought it was MY fault this error had occurred....."No" he said....."Then with respect" I said...."It must be Tescos".......

After a lot of discussion, where everyone "in meat" and his dog were involved, and after refusing offers of "buy 2 get 2 free"(because they believed their Sels to be correct....they agreed with me that the larger yellow Sel stood out more than the smaller £7.29 Sel..............so got full RnR

I believe this is the same in most stores.....I saw this in other stores where I had already RnR'ed a Motorola Phone (or 2)...so didnt touch them.....

Apart from that little hiccup....an excellent day with 4 phones.....Certainly made up for my PS2 and game refusal.........although I havent given up on that yet......

It has, it has increased by about £350 and points too boot. If I change it, it changes all previous ones as well. Thats probably why you think its not changing.

    Wow.

    Interesting couple of pages.

(Note to self - remove 360 chart poster in the morning, apply superglue to all SEL's)

Constantine I like your posts here, they are sooo funny! Why can't all Tesco staff accept R&R hunters in the spirit you do?

Actually, I was wondering, have you ever been near the CS desk in your store and seen anyone R&Ring that you suspect is one of us lot on MSE? If so did you say hello (using their MSE name)? Or don't you usually work near the CS desk?
