Actually, I was wondering, have you ever been near the CS desk in your store and seen anyone R&Ring that you suspect is one of us lot on MSE? If so did you say hello (using their MSE name)? Or don't you usually work near the CS desk?

I deliberatly do not post much about my feelings on the way some approach R & R - it would achieve nothing but lots of arguments. I like a good debate as much as anyone but know there are at least a couple on here that would outclass me :rolleyes:

No, never met any one that I thought may be from MSE. None of the stores I have worked in have ever been mentioned (although a few come close from time to time :eek: ). I must live in an MSE black spot Its me they are talking to when they ring up to get the refund authorised, so get quite a bit of input :cool:

i hope you just never got my xbox leaflet taken down. i drove round 2 extra stores tonight for them but they had been removed found one but was too late to take advantage

My chart poster is correct (with Saints Row as GOTW), test scanned it again today and the offer worked fine. Just not taking any chances! Reading this thread would hurt if I had given one away that day

my xbox blew up last nite so if i get a 360 ill be well chuffed.

i just hope the manager in the store is a different one tommorow as he wasnt very nice today

Just incredible arrogance. If anyone should be reported it is you for clearly stating that you were going to take some expired leaflets to other stores with the intention of getting R+R, hence the negative reaction from so many members here.

To be honest, it matters not at all if you never post again. Someone else will find the misprices and post them, as they did for the 6 months before you turned up. Everyone else will carry on picking up a few misprices a week here and there without boasting about it, without begging for Thanks and without posting the kind of stuff that will get this thread closed down.

So this isn't completely off topic, I managed to get Aeros again today, 2 for £1.80 fails.

Started reading partway thru this thread before 10pm (OH went to bed two hours ago so I'm in the doghouse) and I can't believe what sopme of you guys got away with!!! Never actively tried looking for them myself, but only ever seem to get the difference refunded anyway. I don't think they have the policy poster in my local store :-( - I know I queried it once when a BOGOF didn't work and was told they didn't do that anymore, so I accepted the difference. I guess I was being fobbed off! Glad I had a read, might go play if I can get the kids to keep quiet while I try remember prices! Not sure I agree with a couple of posts where receipt wasn't marked so were going to take back next day for a refund tho - I think getting the product for free plus the equivalent "cashback" is taking it a bit far....but as a newbie I don't want to start a row! I've had a lot of "ordinary" (non-retain!) refunds lately returning school uniforms that didn't fit etc, so CS are a bit fed up with me already I think. Might leave it a while! BTW should they do full R&R if there is a price reduced sticker and they still charge full whack? I know they've only given me the difference on those too (again only overcharges I just happened to spot).

No, as that is classed as operator error, which is not covered by the r & r policy. Same applies to double scans.

Does anyone know where the nearest store is to the Aylesbury one that has price scanners in it?? I can't get any R&Rs because they removed all of the scanners ages ago - and none of the meat prices are wrong - they seem to have a good meat section manager (damn)
