Basically they were in the wrong for not updating there poster's hence discount didn't come off total and I was overcharged. They tried to fob me off firstly with a refund on just game (apparently as a gesture of goodwill) once they realised I had read there policy they just nodded and looked rather upset.
Mummy to 5 beautiful girls and yes it is very hard work lol x :o

Anyone know if there is a particular time that Tesco update their systems?

All the current Saints Row posters are due to expire this friday i think, is it worth going to a local tesco on friday morning at say 8:30 am to try to catch them out with the hopes that the poster hasn't yet been changed but the system has been updated with a new game? Hope that makes sense!
  • i have been to a few stores today... and no leaflet in sight..so just think you guys who are taking some to use in other stores... as maybe.. just maybe not all stores had them in the first place.....

as with the health and beauty leaflets.. last month which had a brill loophole.... not all stores had them.....and they were general offer leaflets....

so just be carefull.....and some times it worth quitting while your ahead.. so to speak....

Whats to stop Mcdonag and others brave enough removing the yellow SEL's from the shelf while they are in date and going through at the right price so no chance of any R&R, then replacing them when they are out of date and claiming an overcharge and full R&R?

Illegal of course but just a thought.

Tesco would just replace the SEL with a new one ?
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.
  • Tried my nearest superstore today, no laptop :(, they did have the Philips 160gb external hdd, it scanned @ £99, but no SEL :(. Did manage to get the Motorola Slvr L7 :D (locked to Tesco mind, wouldn't take my O2 sim).
Makes up a little for getting fobbed off on the Xbox 360 last week

I won't be going back to try my luck with CS and the aeros I bought till tomorrow - is that too late? how long do people usually leave it before approaching CS? Am I way too late? ( i basically stupidly thought they went through cheaply and just left - there were two prices on the SEL - one correct and one in small letters that was incorrect - how do I stand?)
    what a crap attempt.

Would anyone mind explaining how to locate the actual price on the barcode please.? I've been wondering how you find out the price on big items that don't have a price label - from an earlier post on here it looks like its in the barcode figures but I'm not sure which bit.
