Tesco misprice policy discussion area part 8

If you are going to go for a laptop, would you scan it yourself first, or is it you lot who have credit cards, I mean if it comes up as the same as the label do you just return it. I would love to try for a laptop but would look rather dubious trying to scan the box at the scan machines!

I would be very careful there MCDONAG as that is fraud.The r/r is fine the way we legally "shaft" them but IN MY HUMBLE OPINION taking leaflets from one store to another and claiming is wrong.It sfine the way it is by finding a store that has made a mistake and then getting them.

Take the SEL off and scan that..er put it back again after so u can show CS where u found it!

I saw this on Misprises only thread and didn't want to post my question in case I got my bum smacked, I saw these phones in Tesco, but was looking for the price on the SEL to be different to the price on the barcode, they were both the same. The leaflets were still being displayed, but I didn't realise you could get a R & R this way. COuld somebody please clarify that I could use these to get a r & r and what I should say at customer services (thats if they are still available tomorrow).

Tesco Mobile Motorolla SLVR L7 - SEL £99.97 - Scanned at £99.97. If you are lucky you can use the instore RED leaflets which state that "10% OFF ALL Tesco mobile Motorola phones". This is on the reverse of the half price sim pack leaflet.

Be quick though as these ran out on 3rd September 2006 and they will be removed. I bought two of the phones with sim packs as previously reported and used the leaflets as my argument for R&R.

R&R for £199.94 given, no problem.

Bagged a load of these leaflets to use at other storesas well.

i just tired using the red leaflet for a R&R and was refused as a goodwill gesture got it for 75 so returning it tommorow. The manager was snotty saying the price tag was right and that i had placed the leaflets their.

going for the kill can anyone confirm is this the sel everyone is talking about for the 360

I got an R&R with one of those leaflets today also, I just played dim I guess. While she was waiting for the key to open the cupboard I unfolded the leaflet and said 'oh, i think I've been over charged'.

If that poster is up in store, buy an Xbox 360 and Prey and you will be overcharged, as the discount applies to a different game now.

Thats what showed in the store I got my one from although it was a poster staing the new realeses and game of the week. Like the CD and DVD chart ones they have.
