But I'll agree with you on the London stores being sharp - my local never has anything, but I think it's one of the busiest around.
Check out the stores in the City - some of them are very good for R&Rs.
Yes they are sharp
The ones in the city are ok but they dont hold any electricals and thats what I've been after really..some you win some you dont I suppose0 -

Good on you..I was looking for that phone today..but no chuffing luck as usual
Damn Right!
The xbox was my first insight into R+R, THat was when I starting using this site more and found out a lot more about it.
Not giving me the refund on the Xbox will now cost Tesco a lot more! I am a serial R+R'r now!
I have friday off, I might go hunting!0 -
Just got my biggest R&R yet - 160GB Phillips USB Hard Drive. SEL £89.97 charged £99.97. Full refund from friendly CS who explained that since I was getting it for free the warranty was void.Working hard to reduce debts and get better value for money0

See if you can find a laptop, that would really be a good way of getting your own back.
They didn't have any in Bridgend, Upperboat, Ystrad or Llantrisant. Western Avenue has also been done. Might be worth traipsing around a couple of stores on your day off to see if you can find one.0 -

I asked this question, and was told that my warranty was still fine, as they wrote refund due to overcharge, rather than just refund on the receipt.0 -
That's B0II0X your statutory rights are not affected by r&r and if I'm not mistaken it is actually an offence for them just to say they are, I'll have to check that out unless someone else can find something quicker than me that relates to it.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

Does anyone know if this is legal to void your warranty? You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

Check out the last line of the big blue sign behind every CS desk....
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Case closed.I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
I was asked if I wanted my reciept for the phone. I said I need it for the warrantee and they said Oh yes, of course. They marked the R+R on it and gave me it back0
