    thanks in advance

What's the price error and where abouts in the north west are you? No point checking and telling you if you're miles away

its the game of the week with a xbox360 and you get 20 quid off. but the discount wasn't coming off. Im in liverpool but willing to travel a bit.

Off topic but how many club card points per £ do i get. Im thinking about fuelilng up there as i want to take advantage of the alton towers tickets. how many points do i need to equate to £7.50 worth of redemption.

ah, I'm about 2.5 hours further north west, lol. Will have a look but suppose the only way I could find that out would be to buy it and I don't really wanna buy an xbox.

You get 1 point for every pound spent. And every point is worht a penny. So to get £7.50 worth of vouchers, you'd have to spend 750 or use some of the vouchers for bonus points, which would help you stack them up quicker. Then your £7.50 vouchers would be worth £30 in deals.
  • I managed to pick up the laptop today from cardiff western avenue.

I was surprised to see the post (timed at 1.20pm today) to say that the Aero Chunky '2 for £1.80' was working?! I have a receipt in my pocket here dated 1.22pm today, where the till did not take off the offer (Littlehampton branch).

I thought the tills were updated centrally?

Got R&R on 4x Aeros AGAIN, and a third copy (for my kids' friends b'day presents) of the paperback 'Clean Break' by Jacqueline Wilson, also 'Love Lessons' by the same author.

BTW for anyone in West Sussex, I saw TODAY that Durrington (Worthing) branch has a poster saying that the XBOX GOTW is 'Prey' but with a picture of the correct game 'Saints Row'. Poster is dated w/c 1.9.06. It's not a huge store (and I couldn't even see that they had any copies of Prey, didn't want this bundle and all the hassle anyway) but maybe someone braver than me would like a go?

    P.S. I'm a leftie (and a chocoholic!).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi Coupon-Mad

They are uploaded from a central HQ BUT there are different servers which are serving different TYPES of stores....i.e Metro/Extra. Often there is a little Metro out in the sticks somewhere where Tesco have the monopoly for miles around thus they raise the prices slightly higher in this (as they have the catchment). Whereas if its a huge Extra in a city somwhere you'll often find the prices are much lower. HTH

Bleugh. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Got the Acer laptop from Batley.

Acer Aspire 1692WLMi laptop SEL said £599.98 scanned at £649.98.

They tried to get out of it (for about 45 mins) & I think I spoke to every member of staff in the store. But eventually they had to admit defeat and refund. Just glad I'd taken plenty of cash with me just in case.

This is 2.5 times more than my previous best R&R.

    What a day!!!!

Hi guys just a quick one.....ive been lurking in the tesco misprice area for a while now and after seeing the eye-opening goings on (like the sig reading '£1300+ R + R since 10th July' ) its about time i gave it a go.

Regarding the scanners dotted around the shop - could i just check wether deals are scanning incorrectly etc and also the xbox 360 + game of the week - is this a nationwide thing? Im in Cambridgeshire.

I await with bated breath! :T

This is not to do with Tesco but I it seemed the best place to post it.

I visited my local Asda store on Sunday and the price for Salmon was £1.99 on the shelf edge, but £2.49 on the actual packet. When I actually did get charged the higher price I told the Customer Services desk that the shelf displayed a lower price for the exact same item. She got someone in from the section and they just said 'Sorry - the shelf label hasn't been updated'. And with that, they removed the shelf price and didn't offer me the difference as I thought they would. Should I complain?

No you shouldn't. Asda don't overcharge only Tesco do that. ;)

Actually yes you should have. If a retailer displays two prices for the same product then they must charge the lower price.
