Buffy gets a life and budget Diary

Actually, life isn't pants, work is pants but hey ho. I was actually thinking my new diary was quite positive.
Went to the staff do last night, (I am a teacher HTBDF)I danced loads- mainly to avoid akward questions and conversations! My feet - the soles are so painful today. I walked to the cab office - in a fit of drunken maddness..... but it meant it was only 11 quid for a cab instead of 16........! Still the dancing was good and it was nice to see my friends and have a laugh. Not much of a turn out though.
Any how today, I need to get to the shops = return some of the tops I bought and exchange a (budgetted for) dress to a bigger size -I have decided to give up on the whole sizing thing with shops I swear they make it up! the party I am going to - I am meant to be dressing up(costume) but honestly can't be bothered. Its too hot. I also need to get a present for my best friend who's birthday I nearly forgot. thank God for Facebook. And shoes - my work shoes broke on Friday - SO embarrassing! I was bare foot for most of the day. Much of that will go onthe CC but I get paid wednesday - Urg if you are reading its July next week! Ebay challenge?
I need magic hangover curing food in order to be able to do all of this. Oh and I have to wrap presents.
I have cancelled shopping tomorrow (wedding stuff for a friend) in order to do work, so I won't drink tonight and attempt to come home early. I did have a good time last night but am slightly regretting it now!
must find some thing nice and cool to wear today.
see you all later.

Hi Buffy, hope the feet are better now.
Haven't been able to get on the board that much as work is really busy right now. Must admit i've been a little worried about you.
You've said in previous posts that you were having really good driving lessons and were loving it, then you change gear on us and say you hate it and wish you didn't have to do it. Not sure if that's the stress of work getting to you and keeping you down, but i still think you are trying to tackle too many small jobs just so that you can fell like you are achieving something. All these extra little things are adding to the pressure and that's something you can do without.
Hope the home life is a little better now too. Have you been able to talk to mum about any of the work stuff that's troubling you ot the ideas you are toying with for the future? If you ask her opinion on this stuff, do you think this may make her think more about how she will be moving on?
Did you manage to make it to payday okay? From experience i know not eating isn't a good way to diet

Morning all,
I had a lovely time at the party, laughed so much and played with the kids. It great - a proper summer BBQ and evening in the garden. I got home fairly early and am not hung over today.
Plans for today include not getting too hot, cleaning out the fish (fab job on a day like this - My Dad always used to say that I just liked playing in the water- not worried about the fish!) and the Guineap pigs. Then I need to get on with the work. I have a list to work through pinned to my noticed board.
Just as an aside, Ed Balls.... he is the only Labour candidate who gets a mention on the news? I have obviously seen the Milbands about but recently headline stuff its Balls who has a quote on the government policy............Now you see I don't like him AT ALL cos he was education sec and generally think he is a not a nice guy so maybe I am sensitive to his name especially! but it seems unfair.
George - Hello again, I basically don't like driving and do wish I didn't have to do it, sometimes i have lessons that I enjoy cos I am not scared witless and understand how it all works, its happening more often but over all I am not keen. Its ok though I am fine with it.
And Urg, I can wait till July, there is one more crazy scheme to get through at work for me and then I can breathe easy, Six week Challenge works for me. I have so much.......

Hi Buffy
Six week e-bay challenge it is. Having a very stressed and grumpy weekend. have been very busy and just feel like I haven't enjoyed it. OH are off to his sisters today. TBH i really could do without it but she has been asking us to visit so off we go for a day out.
Re the driving - stick with it. Once you have your own car and are able to drive as needed the world will feel so much more open to you. Although the costs of running a car aren't that cheap.
Enjoy your day.

Yeah people are always telling me that about the driving, I know it will be better I also know I won't like, it is not a natural thing for me to do and I have put it off because i know that. Its interesting, previous attempts have stopped because I was waiting to like it - for it all to click and me to get excited about it,this time since i know that isn't going to happen I am just gritting my teeth and getting on with it.
Sorry about the grumpy weekend, I loathe going out when I don't feel like it. my list of things to d just runs through my head and I am rubbish company!
