Will you stop advising people on things that might land them in jail?
The trollfood cafe is now open ..........but not on this forum
Where exactly have i ever advised the OP to do anything illegal??
Re-read my posts before jumping to your paranoid conclusions! :rotfl:
Ive simply told the OP the facts about what the jc can and cant just automatically view.
No-where in my post did i tell him to do anything illegal.
I even told him that as he has only £4,000 he can store or spread that money out in whatever way he wants to,
as its below the £6,000 level,
and so even if he wanted to 'cheat the system' he is physically unable to as doesn't have enough money in savinsg to do so!

Hiding your own money is 100% legal though anyways!
Itd be only illegal if you have over £6,000 but didn't declare that fact.0 -

Might be that he doesn't have the contributions made that will entitle him to contributions based, which means he'll go on income based, which he will qualify for - but he will also have to show financial information. With under £6000 in the bank he will qualify for that (as long as there are no other mitigating factors), so has no need to hide any money or do anything else illegal.
Quite. Thank you. :TI was born too late, into a world that doesn't care

You really haven't got a clue how anything in the big world works do you.
Isn't is past your bedtime anyways, as its a school day for you tomorrow.
If what you said was the way the system works then no-one would get paid any benefits money,
as every jobcentre in the country could just ask every person who makes a claim to ''prove the impossible''! :rotfl:
(The jc could say that they think you have £10,000 cash hidden in your house or in a different location, and so they wont pay you any benefits until you prove that you don't have that cash.
But so how could anyone ever prove that they dont have cash hidden somewhere??
It'd be asking them an impossible task.
Re-read my post (or get a grown up to read it for you) then look up the word "suspect" in your "barby book of big words".0 -

I would think that if a government agency required you to 'declare all income' to them, and you didn't, then that wouldn't quite be legal

Quoted from you-
If they even suspect that you have money salted away, it is up to you to prove that you don't.
They don't need to use a special computer to look at your bank statements.
All they need to do is ask YOU to bring them in.
The word ''suspect'' makes no difference whatsoever to what you have stated in your post.
As if what you said was true, then tomorrow the jobcentre staff would just say to every claimant-
''I suspect that you have £10,000 in cash which you have hidden away in your house or a different location.
And so we are going to freeze your benefits payments until you find a way of 'bringing in something to prove that you dont have that''.
Now do you finally realise how stupid and foolish your post was.....?! :rotfl::D:p0 -

Stashing money in the house is something different. But they can easily ask for a claimant to bring in their bank statements, and verify who they hold accounts with, with equifax or experian. (so they can't just bring in ONE of their accounts, the DWP will already know WHO they hold accounts with). All over the place, from the popular culture to the propaganda system, there is constant pressure to make people feel that they are helpless, that the only role they can have is to ratify decisions and to consume.0 -
YAY! I was correct about our latest AE troll Aphrodite aka angel

Seriously if anyone else is in a similiar position to the OP and reading the drivel that Aphrodite is posting please, please, please do not take his advice!*SIGH*

Im not sure why and what is even being debated here to be honest!
The OP only has 4k in savings,
so even if they did want to cheat the system by claiming with over 6k savings they would be physically unable to do so.
Thus no fraud is going to be/could physically be committed regardless of if they wanted to or not.
So im not sure what people are still debating about it?:rotfl:0 -

And on what do you base this suspicion that I may have £10,000 in cash?0
