Well my non payer has now paid up so that parcel is in the post today.

I'm absolutely exhausted again today, another weekend of running about and not achieving too much.

I had a good lunch with my friends on Saturday, and then dashed off to the car boot sale to help DH sell. Yesterday we went to look around a couple of boot sales and then sold at a third. It turned out to be a very long day.

I'm looking forward to the long weekend, though we are currently planning on selling on 3 days if we can. I haven't made much money this weekend as most of what we sold was DH's and stuff left over from MIL's house but I don't mind as it's all clutter out of the house.

I think I'm losing my debtbusting mojo at the moment. Maybe I need to have a break for a few days. I haven't been doing a lot recently, been spending too much, have nothing listed on ebay, can't be bothered to keep up with surveys and bingoport etc, so I'm not doing very well right now.

I feel tired all the time, the house never seems to get better no matter how much we appear to sell. I just want one room clear so I can relax in it, but it's just not possible at the moment.

Oh well, it will all be worth it in the end.

Shame - if I had 'plus five'd my lottery ticket last week, I would have got 4 numbers plus the bonus on Tuesday - just had a sneaky peek and it would have been £25

I did win £5 on the Thunderball though :j haven't played that for ages.

The good news for today is that my debtbusting mojo is not quite so far away today :o

Checking my bank account this morning - my £100 compensation from Santander is there :j:j so I will pay that off something later.

I've also sold a book on amazon which adds £4.73 to my total.

I determinedly (is that a word?) took a break from the computer last night, sorted out a box full and a carrier bag of bits to go to charity, and have made a plan about making some more space downstairs which will help with my sanity.

Last night I moved some bits around and have made space for the new chair (which I still love!) in the extension which is it's destined home anyway. It's still hideously cluttered out there, but the chair is no longer blocking my access to stuff in the middle room so it makes me feel better.

I've also got a plan to remove a few things from amazon which I think I'll sell quicker at a boot sale so I shall do that over the next few days ready for the weekend.

    Hiya Jwil,

You are doing really well as retiredandskint pointed out. I also think though that we all go through these times where we need a bit of a break just to recharge our batteries and come back a bit more invigorated. I don't mean stop the debt busting all together but maybe take time to look at what is working for you. Like you said you purposely turned off the comp and sorted out some things in your home which i am sure must have made you feel lots better and then you thought about putting some stuff to the carboot rather than amazon as that will free up more space for you more quickly and hopefully bring some cash in more quickly too ;)

I do find it hard to juggle things all the time such as making sure I have time with OH, working 2 jobs doing MS's, e-bay, surveys and its because there all these other things going on in our lives that we do need to make time for as well as trying to keep our focus on reducing the debt - maybe thats just me though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: anyways, glad your moneymaking mojo is coming back to you :D will check in before then but hope you have a lovely easter - i'll just be working as usual - its my standard shift so not even as though i'll get any extra *sniff*

Thanks DDFW, it does make a difference just having a few days off. In the grand scheme of things, it's not a huge deal and is not going to vastly affect my DFD, and hopefully it will rejuvenate me.

I think part of it yesterday was that I'd spent all weekend selling stuff at car boots and made £1. That's partly my own fault though as we didn't pack much of my stuff. DH really needs the extra cash more than me as he's still off work. I don't mind really. More of the same this weekend, but I'll take some more stuff too!

Sorry to hear you don't get any time off, especially as you don't get paid any extra for it. Do you get some time off in lieu or anything?

You seem to do so much more than I do, so if I'm feeling shattered, you must feel 10 times worse!!

I'm debating ebaying this week - wondering about 10 day listings either Thursday or Friday. That would mean the listings are on for both Bank Holiday weekends and would end either Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday.

It could work both ways though - it might go well as people are off work and bored, but if the weather is good they will all be out, though if the weather is bad, they may all be stuck at home in front of the computer!

I think I'm going to stick some books on amazon anyway, that doesn't take so long.
