Phew, thanks for that list! I'm going to keep track. From a quick glance I've read 20ish of them. There are a few on my bookcase that I've started a few times. Might make Birdsong my next feat!

I haven't been on for a while as had nothing to report with the debtbusting. This month has been so long! Can't wait til Payday on Friday!
We did another boot sale on Sunday and had a really good day - one person bought a banana box full of books, and another person bought 21 :j I also got rid of an old tatty TV cabinet that we don't use any more, so really pleased with all that.
DH and I have tomorrow and Friday off work, woo hoo! It is our wedding anniversary on Saturday (2 years) so we are umming and ahhing over whether to take the van away for a couple of days or whether to go to Legoland . I want to go to LegolandBeing a mature adult without any children...:p
I sorted out the porch last night, boxed up all the bags of books that are in there, and cleared them out, and also moved the spare broken) washing machine behind the spare (working) freezer so hopefully we can start using that now for some bulk buying. It's not looking perfact, but it is much better than it was, and at least one part of the house doesn't look like a dumping ground now!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Well DH has transferred the bill money to me for this month, so have paid £225 towards my credit cards (I transfer the full amount for the bills when I get paid tomorrow).
I have received 2 credit limit increases this week - one on my catalogue - which I have already been debating asking them to reduce, so probably will now. The other on one of my credit cards. I am contemplating using this for a balance transfer or towards a catalogue bill for the TV which we had to replace last year which is coming up in October. I shall probably use it towards the TV as it will be a lower interest rate, and I still hope to have it paid off before the interest free period runs out, so I can then use it towards a balance transfer for MBNA.
I've also found 8p for the coke bottle, so that's gone in there. It's good being able to pay towards the debts again!
We have decided to go to Legoland tomorrow - not very MSE I know, but we have 2 for 1 vouchers, and have wanted to go for years. It is our anniversary this weekend anyhow!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
OOh, I've got a £5 amazon voucher from Bingoport too, woo hoo!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

I've got all my details now for my new basic current account and savings account with NatWest. I've sent £1.00 to each of them to test I've set up the new payments properly. Now just got to sort out Paypal and I'll be able to close the Lloyds account and save £10 per month! :j"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

I've just updated my bingo account with a new card, (had to play my current balance through to do this) and have deposited £10. This should mean I can start doing the free scratchies again :j I've bought a few tickets (including for tonight when the prize is a holiday
) and will try and withdraw the rest when I get to payout.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I punched DH in my sleep last night, I dreamt a spider was running at me so I went to squish it, and hit him instead :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:He was REALLY impressed"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

We had a good day yesterday, though I am shattered today! It is our 2nd wedding anniversary today so I expect we may go out for dinner later or something:happyhear.
I've paid another £250 to my DH towards the money I owe him, and have paid my bills for this month, which means August is going to be another toughie. Need to get my !!!! in gear to ebay some more stuff.
Failed miserably on the NSD challenge for July, managed 7/11. I'm going to try for 11 again in August and see how I get on there.
Have a good weekend everyone!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Hmmm, went booting this morning and have come back with LOADs of books
Didn't pay much for them though. I did get 3 off the 1001 books list though, so am happy with that, and when I went to take them off my amazon wishlist, I discovered that the cheapest I could have got one of them for is around £10 so once I've read it I shall be selling it on. I paid 20p each for them, so that's a pretty good return! :j
