  • Hi Jwil and others- just came to say hello. I haven't been here for couple of days. I am too tired at the moment. It was just mad week , not any more than any other week but somehow it got to me since last tuesday...All I want is sleep but a very busy day today, not only working but going to my class observation and my first Xmas dinner tonight. I much rather to be in my bed. Weekend is not goingto be easy either, work project needs to be completed. College work needs to be completed. I need to prep a lesson plan as I will be teaching first time next Friday. My friend expects me to pick her up from airport , my son expects me to spend entire day in front of TV watching films.Help!

    But still ploding....:p
    Don't forget smiling :):):)

Hi want to be free, you have got a lot on at the moment, no wonder you are tired! I hope you manage to get some time to yourself. Send your son round here, I could do with a day doing nothing but watching films :D

Nothing much to report here, a few of my relists are now selling so that's good.

My DH has booked my car in for it's MOT bless him. The only problem is, he's booked it for the day BEFORE I get paid

Either he'll have to pay for it, or I'll just give the garage a cheque. It's always one thing or another! Unless of course I do fantastically with ebay sales (would have to list something first of course :o) and can pay it all cash!

Harry Potter film for me this weekend

  • Hi jwil! Just catching up on your diary :D I've been thinking about starting a new diary as the old one got a bit 'clogged up' with wedding planning :D so please look out for it ;)

Definitely get a sub off your hubby until payday for the MOT. Ouch.

Oooh, enjoy Harry Potter! I've got some cinema vouchers in the post (using Mr T's voucher) so think we're going to go next week. Funny thing is that although the tickets are free it'll cost us about £7 in tram tickets to get there! D'oh. :o

Hi wanttobefree - sounds stressy :( I'd go for a book and a bath and taking some time out for yourself. Sometimes when you think you don't have a minute that's when you need to take two. :)

You're doing so well with your ebay sales - why not make it a target to raise enough for the MOT?

I raised just under £30 at a table-top sale today - not bad considering there were only a handful of customers - very badly publicised methinks. Since I've now got so much stuff organised, I might go the whole hog and do a car boot tomorrow. Will keep an eye on the weather though.

Also got £8 of Tesco vouchers in the post.

Still way behind target for November though.:o

Hi La Escocesa, good to see you back! How was the wedding and honeymoon?

I'll definitely keep an eye out for your diary, pop a link in here if I don't find it soon!

Harry Potter was really good, not at all MSE though - £18.80 for 2 tickets :eek::eek:

Thanks peaceandfreedom, not sure I've got enough time to raise the cash for next week now, but I've popped 5 items on Turbolister this morning, ready to upload later or Tuesday probably.

Well done on your Table top sales, good luck if you do a car boot this morning - where do you go?

That's good on the tesco vouchers too!

    Hi Jwil,

Weather forecast looked OK-ish so I did do the car boot this morning. Got there for 6am - still dark. It's in Cheddar, there's a very big one there. According to the traders, it was quiet today but I sold quite a bit and made £75 profit - that's after paying for the pitch, two bacon butties, sweets and coke for DD2 and a lovely little pair of new boots from another stall for DD2 for being so sweet and helping me. Pleased with that and got rid of lots of stuff at the same time, so it's all good. :T

It was very cold though earlier, and started to drizzle a bit later so we came home earlier than I normally would - I normally stick these things out to the bitter end. But there's no point if you're stuff is getting rained on.

Still only 53% towards my November target and I've no idea how I'm going to make the shortfall, but still not bad going.
