I haven't done too badly today. Got three replacement Belkin mice for those that stopped working (they have a life-time guarantee). Have listed one on [STRIKE]amazon[/STRIKE] - EDIT make that ebay. Amazon charge a compulsory £4.50 to the customer, making it uneconomical to sell. Daft that.
Have also listed 2 of my Toy Story 3 items on ebay. I've decided to keep the other smaller things for the table-top sale.
Sold 2 items on amazon today.
Got a £5 Debenhams voucher via text. Have now got 220 Costa Card points - finally enough for a coffee!
So all in all not TOO bad a day.
Well done on your listings and sales! Also great about the Debenhams Voucher and free coffee is always good."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

The more I list things on ebay, the more I admire you, jwil. It's such a lot of bother. Oh well, it's good to get things sold and out of the house and it's good to have the money in from Paypal when I need it. But I'll be glad when I have done with all the ebaying.
Hope you get loads done tomorrow.
It's a lot easier when you don't have kids to get ready I agree. DH leaves for work at 6.30 and he walks the dog before he goes, so it's just me here which makes it easy for me.
I hate listing on ebay but it is a necessary evil at the moment. I can't wait until the day when I don't HAVE to do it, or just do it every now and again to get rid of a few bits. I do like it when the money comes in though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well I've done sod all this morning
I woke up and was shattered so went back to sleep for a bit and then couldn't be bothered.
I'll try and get some on at lunchtime I think.
I've just claimed £5 from a survey site, and had an email from ebay saying it is free listing this weekend. They don't normally allow turbolister but it means I can relist everything I have on there again."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I've listed 23 books on amazon, so it's a start, though I will be kicking myself when I haven't put anything on ebay. The types of books I list don't tend to be particularly popular so it's a case of just waiting for the buyer. I don't consider it a quick way of listing so it probably won't help with my totals for this month.
Good news is, I've just had an email from a company for whom I spent some time taking part in an online forum last week. They are sending me a cheque of £55!! Woo hoo! :j:j I thought it would just be about £10 sent to the survey company I got invited through. I won't count it (or believe it!) till it arrives, but it will be very welcome! :T"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Right, I'll try and do a lesson on Bingoport. I'm not sure if there's a thread on here, if there is I haven't seen it! But I heard about it through people on here too.
Bingoport is a free bingo site, they get their funds by reviewing paid bingo sites and getting referral links (I presume).
The link is www.bingoport.co.uk
They operate in 'Port Points' and you earn points by posting in their forums, doing surveys (occasionally), and by winning them in the bingo and slot games. You can redeem your points for £5 amazon vouchers, cash for paying bingo sites, bingoport goodies and for various charities.
You need 10,000 points to redeem for a £5 amazon voucher, 5,000 to redeem for most of the other things. Out of your amazon redeem, you will also recieve £2 in cash on Bingo Broadway - a cash site. You need to join bingo broadway and link your account to get this £2 (not essential I believe, but I did do it, and play the £2 - it's free after all, and you never know!)
When you want to redeem for an amazon voucher you must have played at least 2000 points in bingo over the last 7 days.
Redeems are processed each Thursday (you need to redeem by Wednesday night to have your voucher Thursday morning), so I make sure I play my 2000 points every Thursday just in case I am lucky enough to get enough points for a redeem.
You earn 100 points for every 'post of substance' you make in the forums, and you get points for the first 10 posts you do every day - so that means you can earn 1000 points a day.
A 'post of substance' needs to be (I think) 50 characters long, and needs to be relevant to bingo or slots. Have a look at the forums and you can see the sort of things people talk about. You cannot copy and paste your responses.
You cannot redeem just from posting points - you then need to play them in Bingo and/or Slots. Bear in mind you do need to play 2000 points in bingo for an amazon redeem.
So, this is what I do:
I make my 10 posts in the forums, which earns me 1000 points. I then go to slots and play those 1000 points. Every time I win I 'cash out' the amount I've just won, so I know that everything left in my balance is winnings which are valid for redeems. I then wait for them to build up enough for 10,000 so I can redeem.
Every Thursday I start playing bingo, so I know I've played my 2000 points. If I max out on tickets, I know I need to play 41 games over the week. Periodically throughout the day there are times when the jackpot can be guaranteed 2000 points, otherwise it varies according to how many people are playing. You can also get extra points if you take part in the chat games and there are tourneys which run every so often as well. If I'm at home I'll just keep on playing until I've played the whole lot, otherwise I'll play a few a day and keep a tally of how many I've played.
That's about it really - it is gambling, and you have good days and bad days, some days you just lose all your points, other days you win loads like I did yesterday. If you are dedicated and do do it every day, you can redeem approximately once every fortnight.
It does take some work, but I enjoy it so don't mind.
I hope that makes sense and helps someone, sorry it's so long!

Hi unsavy, thanks for popping in!
I posted a while ago on Bingoport, so I've dug out the post and reposted it above. I'm not sure how much sense it makes though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
