jwil - hope today goes better for youSo very annoying about both the refund for your sale items and for your watch breaking - grr! Hopefully they'll replace it as well as compensate you a bit too
How very nice of your parents to send you some chocolate - i don't think anyone has ever sent me chocolate so i'm feeling a little envious over here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I agree with you and peaceandfreedom - allowing people to put their feedback as private is just so wrong
peaceandfreedom - thats a fab amount to have in your sealed pot :T:T:T very pleased for youAnd glad your trip went well + that you got a nice reimbursement for fuel costs
eBayQueen - congratulations but as you've mentioned there's more than 1 eBayQueen i'm a little confused - it doesn't take much to confuse me though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks DDFW, I've ordered a new bit for the watch from ebay so I probably won't bother trying to go out of my way tomorrow. I'm going to write a letter of complaint though and see if that gets me anywhere. The new bit (which is genuine) was only £3 including postage so we shall see if it works out. It's cheaper than the diversion, that's for sure.
My folks are lovely. They quite often send me chocolate and goodies, it's fab!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Well today has been a grumpy day again.
DH's mortgage money has still not arrived in my account, so we're going to have to get in touch with his bank and see where it's gone. It's showing that it left his account on MOnday, and it's set up as a regular payee, so don't know what's gone wrong this month. Sadly it means that my DD on Monday is presumably going to bounce. I can't seem to get on top of things at the moment. Really didn't need that to happen .
I'm very anxious about the MOT on Monday too, so fingers crossed that will be ok. Am contemplating putting off the starting motor, as I can't really afford it, but equally it is getting worse and I can't afford to break down either. Better that I control when it is replaced than get it forced on me.
I finally managed to get my assignment submitted today so that's one thing done. I must say, I'm not very good at social sciences, I find it hard to write essays in them. Science essays are much nicerI'm not very confident about this assignment, but it has brought it home that I need to get myself sorted and organise a study area where I can get away from everything.
I did have a very scary moment though - I decided I would submit the assignment while I was at work so I could just check through it again before sending it. BT were doing some work around the building and at one point knocked out all the phones and internet! I was very  that I wasn't going to be able to get it submitted, but did manage to in the end *phew*.
Moral of the story - Must not leave submitting to the last minute!!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Oooh, just sold 6 things on ebay. That's £20 coming my way. That's made me feel a bit better"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0

Thought it was time to stop the moaning and do something productive. DH is shattered so went to bed early. I've got some peace and quiet, so have now listed 2 items on ebay, completed a survey, applied for loads of books to review (I got one last weekend which I haven't started yet), and entered a few competitions.
I'm feeling the chill now and am shattered too (was up at 5.30am to get the assignment done) so am thinking I'm off to bed now to snuggle down with a good book.
I'm off to Bath tomorrow, so nite nite all, have a good weekend"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -
Ok, back again. I've just emailed a complaint about my watch and asked for a replacement buckle. Here's hoping they get back to me.
Really am going to bed now. Cheerio!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney0 -

Well done on getting the assignment done. I know what it can be like doing an OU course - sometimes it's hard to devote the time and effort especially when you have so much going on. I have a Honours Degree with the OU that I was awarded in 2009, so I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
Hey and well done on the ebay sales - good stuff. :T0 -
Hiya - outted!Live on £4000 a year again for 20110

Hiya all
hi lilo and stitch
peaceandfreedom how are things with you? Are you still busy with work
jwil - well done on completing your assignment - i bet you've done better than you thinkHope they send you a bit more than the replacement part from the watch place too
Regarding the money your hubby transferred have the bank sorted out where the money has gone to yet? If they have not paid it to the right place then they should compensate you for your financial loss and affect on your credit file - i guess first of all its finding out where your money has gone and then who has made the mistake
Hope your car is not too costly - mine has cost me £200 in the last 2 weeks what with mot & repair costs- that money was supposed to be for the boiler - although i know i'd have had to pay for my mot regardless :undecided
Well done on your eb*y sales too :T:T:T i have a bid on 1 item of mine £30 - this ends in a few days and has been re-listed lots and lots so hoping this goes through smoothly as i really need the moneyAnd well done on listing some more things on eb*y - i've been trying to do that on and off for the last 2 days but as comp is playing up i can't get pics on
Hope you've had a nice rest and then had a nice day out todayI've left you a little xmas gift on bing*port hun :xmastree::xmassign: - hope that its lucky for you
Well the beginnings of a cold that i've had for about 2weeks has developed a bit further and today i feel rotten _pale_ Still i've decided to ignore it as best i can and crack on with all the things i have to do today  I mean does this little bug not know that christmas is 21 days away? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:CC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hope this is a better week for you JWIL. Well done on ebay sales and good luck with getting a replacement buckle for your watch.
Well done on your sales as well DDFW and I hope you're over the worst with your cold. Looking on the bright side you should be okay for the Crimble season.
Congrats eBayQueen on your happy news. It does tend to blow the budget a bit out of the water tho :rotfl:
:T on your sealed pot Peace, not a bad sum of money to spend.
Apologies if I've missed anyone (old age is not all it's cracked up to be)
I've set my 'Pay off as much as you can' now although a lot of that will just go towards interest
My ebay sales are not going well, I've had watchers for the same thing two weeks running but not bids. Why does somebody watch something all week and then not bother
On thefront I got my £10 Christmas box from the Government today :j:j
