Hi again, I realised that you asked me about Diet Cheff... I started 9 days ago , first week I lost 6 pounds. That included me to go to eat as much as you like brunch on sunday morning...

I call this diet as ''Lazy Girls' Diet'', it is dead easy to do and food is really delicious.Breakfast is usually porridge or gunea ( I think this is how it is spelt ) then you can have a snack, lunch is soup or milkshake , you can add slice of bread or salad. Before dinner you can have fruit , dinners are my favourites, especially beef hotpots, although I really didnot like pasta in tomotoes souce...It is all real food , you can have a bit of rice next to it , and salad or vegs... I always cook so not really used to ready made meals but the meals from Diet Cheff is really testy...I like the popcorns, bars etc too.

Normally costs £192 per month for 5 weeks food - but the trick is to go to their website and check it out. I entered my details first, after a week they offered me one free soup to test and £5 off. I asked for the soup , it was yum by the way, but did not buy it straight away... A week after they gave me 25 % from my first order so I paid just over £140 for 5 weeks. Not to bad , not to bad at all...

Overall, it is easy, tasty, relatively speaking - it does not cost an arm and a leg...You also save time from shopping and also from cooking... Even my young man likes it...

Hiya all, we must all be having a bad time with things electrical, mechanical or plumbing. My dishwasher packed up at the weekend, nothing worse than getting up to a dishwasher full of dirty dishes :( Yesterday my car stalled twice when slowing down, it's an automatic so nothing to do with me, I'm now £360 down but I had started a car fund and had £100 in it so that helped a bit.:T

    Happy ebaying

It's so frustrating isn't it. Well done on having the car fund though - it helps! I hope to get one started next year.

Thanks for this WTBF. I may have a look in the future. Like I say, it may help me with portion control, so it may be good there.

Had a fairly relaxed day yesterday which was good. I managed to clear a huge pile of magazines I've accumulated. (I get them passed on to me, I don't tend to buy them), so that's cleared space. I also managed to get a few more bits listed on ebay.

My car's in the garage today for the brakes, so a hefty bill heading my way later today.

Hope the car bill doesn't amount to too much.

Went to the hairdressers today - for the first time EVER I didn't spend any money at all other that at the hairdressers themselves (I won't horrify people by saying how much I spent there though.). I didn't even pay for parking, I found a side street about 5 minutes walk away.

Unfortunately, I detoured by Waitrose on the way home and spent 17 quid - it was all on very yummy stuff though and I don't care. :D

It was £113 so not too bad relatively speaking :j. Well done on not spending other than the hairdressers, and free parking too! I haven't been to the hairdresser for years, I get hubby to do it for me. It's one thing I'd like to reinstate one day, particularly when I've lost some weight.

I can't comment on the Waitrose shop as I also purchased lunch from there today and spent a fortune :o It was nice though :D

    Morning Jwil

How are you? How is your money making going this week? I get given lots of magazines too and have a pile waiting to give my neighbour who in turn provides me with different ones. I used to spend a fortune on housey ones years ago and now I have wised up.:)

Any plans over the next few weeks?

    take care

Hey ebayqueen, I'm good thanks, how are you?

The ebay sales are not doing too bad so far, so that's pretty good. I've redeemed for a £10 amazon voucher from a survey site, so that's good too. It's free listing this weekend so I shall try and get some more on too as well as relists.

No real plans for the next few weeks, I really need to get back on track to make things easier so more listing will be happening.

Some amazon sales would be nice too :D

How about you - anything planned?

Yesterday I wanted to tackle some boxes in the extension to get it cleared. I brought out two boxes for DH to check thinking they were ready to go. He had a flick through them, took a few bits out and then put them back.

That is exactly why it is taking so long to clear this house. It's not my bloody stuff, but he won't get on with it!

    It's so frustrating sometimes!

    Rant over :D
