jwil - well done on those ebay and amazon sales :T:T:T
ebayqueen - hihope this week has been less hectic for you
peaceand freedom - hope all is well with you hon
sorry i haven't been round much - having another tired week - but am making some good progress on the 3rd room i challenged myself to completely declutter and deep clean this month :j:j:j
Sadly i'm not generating much for e-bay and only maybe like 1 or 2 bits for carboot but the difference is really significantOH even commented on the 1st room i did - so it must have been noticeable :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - 2nd room he made no comment but maybe thats because it made a complete mess of another room - oops
and this third room i am doing (erm not the one i messed up) but i am hoping by the weekend will be completely re-organised and sparkly clean
This in turn will make this room (like the other 2) much easier to keep on top of for regular weekly cleans. Or if something gets put down where it shouldn't be it will stand out straight away and be easy to move as a) its just 1 item and b) everything is now getting its own place which is practical in terms of usage and ease of access
The room i'm working on next month is the one i messed up - this is part of my yearly challenge but think i'm going to aim to finish this process of deep clean and declutter by the end of the year because, as stated the rooms i've done and the one i'm doing look so much better and so are much nicer to be inthe rooms are now easier to keep both clean and tidy thus for some time and effort now is saving time every week
also it would be lovely to have the whole house completely clean and free of all clutter ready for xmas and the start of the new year
Wow! didn't mean to chatter so much there
Take care all x
Well done on the decluttering DDFW, it sounds like it will be really good once it's all done. I hope to get there with this house as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Ah well, almost three months to Xmas then you can add me on it for the New Year. I will tell you the amount later , next week I am having a PayPlan review....
If you want to join in for the rest of the year WTBF, you'd be very welcome! Every pound counts after all.
I'm hoping to run it again next year, but will decide finally nearer the time. At the moment there's no reason why I won't do it again."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I had the world's worst night's sleep last night, *yawn*.
I'm not a good sleeper anyway, and generally wake a few times a night, but I was definitely awake most of the night last night. Hoping for a better night tonight.
I decided to go into work early this morning, but because of traffic problems a 15 minute journey took me an hour .
I am determined to try and get some bits listed on ebay either tonight or tomorrow though.
We've found some very cheap accommodation for our Scotland trip though, so very pleased about that. :j Fingers crossed it turns out to be ok! If it's good, they've got the opportunity to have a lot of repeat custom from us. We're not fussy, just want clean, secure and a bed!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi all
jwil - i'll pm you the details when i'm not struggling to keep my eyes open - must be something in the air with this bad sleeping - though i think mines more to do with fretting over money (or lack of)and maybe 1 or 2 more issues coming to the fore - still, we're already over half way through the working week :T though today has been very gruelling *yuck*
Well done on the sales too - i would so like to get items listed on e-b*y other than at the weekend but getting in after 10pm just makes it impossible as i am just too tired by this point.
Boo! to the rubbish traffic but Woo! :j to the cheap accomodation - if its in orkney i'd love to know about it too- in fact anywhere in scotland
Absolutely past my bedtime - hope to be around a bit more and a bit more cheery next week - i'm just feeling in a bit of a debt rut at the mo.

I am so annoyed today, that dispute I had in Paypal? They told the buyer to return the items for a refund. I've had nothing. Today, they have emailed me to say they've given him a partial refund, and closed the case!
That's bloody ridiculous! I can't wait until I don't *have* to sell on ebay any more, people are such a pain in the !!!!. I can't believe he can get away with this - he's obviously done it to more sellers than us!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". *Phew* - they haven't given him a refund, they've closed the case. The lovely people on the ebay board told me to double check, and what the email says is wrong. That is such a relief!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

Phew, such a relief - you know I hardly ever go to Ebay, but once I sold a mobile / sent it to the buyer- the money was in paypal account / I did not move it but it was there. Then the buyer took his money back , I did not realised it until too late so I lost the phone ... I was so annoyed but couldn't do anything , after that if I sell something , which is etremly rare, then I ask for cash and buyer collects ....Not practical of course but I am paranoid ...Don't forget smiling

Sorry to hear that WTBF. You have to take care with things like phones to ensure you don't get scammed like that. It's so frustrating because the vast majority of people on ebay are fine, it's just the horrible few that ruin it for everyone.
Despite my ranting earlier, and my dislike of selling on there, it is the best place to sell stuff in my opinion as it is relatively cheap and you get a worldwide audience! I wouldn't do half as well with the moneysaving if I couldn't do it, so I do persevere. And when all goes well I love it"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I've sold another 2 books today, so loving that! Another £8 for the coffers.
I've also listed 10 items for me and 17 for DH on Turbolister to be uploaded soon. Very pleased with that."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
