Just listed my ebay items, and within seconds of them going on, I've had 3 bids, yeah! :j:j:j:j:j

In not so good news, I've managed to get some cheap travelodge rooms for our trip away, but to have the dog with us costs more than the room itself :rotfl:Flaming expensive pets!

  • ;-) but also dogs are lovely and you probably woudn't do without him/her...
Look t the bright side, if you left it at home it would cost a lot more to arrange someone to walk with him and look after him . You would also miss out on the joy it would bring to you during lovely walks in Scotland...
    Don't forget smiling :):):)

Well the cat's off to the cattery anyway, so there's an expense there, and it would probably cost about the same to put the dog in the kennels as well.

It wouldn't be the same without him though, and part of the reason we are going is to have lots of walks, so he's coming with us.

At 6.30am when I'm walking the dog with my eyes half closed, I could very well do without him :p But the rest of the time, I can manage :D

  • I'm like the proverbial 'bad penny' and keep coming back :rotfl:

So much has moved on in your diary that I'm not going to be able to catch up but it seems like you've done really well in your sales again jwil so well done:T:T

Hope all the regulars are ok and that debt busting plans are coming along especially as the Season of Big Debt is looming up fast. I'm normally one of those that leaves it to the last minute but I'm doing well this year.

My laptop died and couldn't be repaired so had to buy a new one . Although officially retired I do do some paid work and do need the laptop to do it. An expense I could have done without so my debt busting is flailing. I did manage to make nearly £70 on e*ay though :j

    Have a good weekend.

Well done on being organised for that word which shall not be mentioned :D, I shall be doing mine soon I'm sure.

Grrr to broken laptops though, it's annoying when these unexpected things appear. Well done on your ebay sales though, that's fab! :T:T:T

Thanks guys, I'm very excited. Like everything I won't believe it until it happens though.

It starts in November, and it covers all sorts of personal finance things. It's this course http://www3.open.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/course/db123.htm and it sounds really good. I think it will help give me some grounding and understand a bit more about how things work and how it all relates. It's a great opportunity, and I'm very grateful to have been given the opportunity.

I will of course share my knowledge, and you will be able to call me "oh wise one" :D, and I will become perfect at managing my finances overnight I'm sure :p.

I suspect they took one look at my signature and thought "Yep that one needs help!"

I've sold another 3 items on ebay today, so will add the totals from that tomorrow.

My lovely DH has told me he is planning on going out tomorrow, so I shall have a few hours to myself to potter about, yay!

Oh well! Will look up the details and reply today - its just going to be relisted anyways

Enjoy your few hours pottering :)

i'm pretty tired and thinking of going back to bed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
