Hi rainbowneeks, thanks for popping in, do hang around if you wish!
That post is going to be important to me I think, and I will have to revisit it, because it is a slog, and I need to keep reminding myself that it will all be worth it in the end.
You've done really well so far, and I LOVE the idea of a Vegas fund! I would love to go back there one day, and DH and I always wanted our honeymoon to be a road trip around California/Nevada areas, but we haven't had it yet
I'd also like to go back to New York. Every time I hear that Alicia Keys song I get yearnings for it. I think that is what I am going to aim for first because we could do a short break there for a smaller amount of money. It's not my priority as I need to get my finances better first, but that is my first dream.
I would love to do a road trip around that area too...well infact just all over america!! Oh well, I can dream I supposeYou could aim for your new york trip as a reward when you reach your goals...an extra incentive
Have never been to las vegas, so really hope I can get there!

Yep. I would love that too. A trip to NYC would definitely be towards the top of my list when I'm DF, so it's there in my mind.
When I went to Las Vegas, it was as part of a trip anyway, and I wasn't in the slightest bit interested in going. It was amazing! I loved it far more than I thought I would.

I've also sold a few items on ebay but will need to tot those up later.
Have added 4 items to turbolister as well so will upload those later or tomorrow."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Thanks ebayqueen, I'd hoped to get more done, but oh well.
How are you getting on with your £10 a day challenge? I'm guessing you've managed almost £75 already? That's great!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -

Hi Jwil
Thats a good amount for a day. I love fast payers too! Have come to a bit of a standstill with the the challenge but am waiting for some paypal to hit bank account. Will make it look a bit better!!!!
I think a bit everyday soon adds up. I have most of mine listed to end at the weekend and I am twiddling my thumbs now. Will get back in to the routine when things settle down here. So many things to do so little time
Have you listed big or small items? I try to sell mostly clothing which is easy to pack and post. Got an email this morning to ask me to share what plans I have for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My stuff is generally small bits ebayqueen. Don't get a lot for them, but got lots to get rid of, so it adds up eventually. One of my parcels I posted yesterday though was a very lightweight but bulky item, so that's always satisfying."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
