Thought I would swing by and see how we are doing on our 100 day challenge. We have just got my Virgin bill through the post so have updated our snowball and signature as that concludes our bills for the month. i feel quite pleased to have paid off 8.3% of our debt since June, especially as my income has gone up since then and our mortgage has reduced. Very excited to see how that figure reads in December 2011

You are making some amazing progress and over 8% already is fantastic! What a great way to finish this year and start a fresh next year. Big pat on the back is deserved!!

Thank you. I guess with snowballing it just starts quite slowly so can't wait to get to the point where it all just starts to disappear more quickly. I am really excited to see where we are this time next year - how geeky does that sound?
I look back at our spending so little on Christmas pressies and think that I got that figure from last year, where i spent months making a lot of the pressies and saved a lot that way but this year I didn't have time so the budget should have gone up to allow for that. This year the twins are a year older and a year more expensive plus we have a new addition so we did really, really well to keep it under £150. Go us!
This is by far the longest we have been 'on track' for so I am confident that the debt will be gone and hopefully way before April 2016!Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -
Have withdrawn a £15 voucher for Amazon from Toluna so looking forward to getting that sometime in the next few months - could be handy in March as we have tons and tons of birthdays within days of each other.
Tons to do around the house but just chilling on the sofa with the kids at the moment.
Have bought a cheap running jacket and some tracky bots for DH.Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -

I still can't get onto the dayzero website to work on my list. I really hope the list I made isn't lost as it took me ages and I don't have a copy of it - grr!
I am feeling very inspired by getting a £15 amazon voucher the other day through toluna so i am surveying like a crazy lady again today. I think I will have a dull day of housework and surveying and see how much I can 'earn' today.
I wrote all our thank you cards yesterday so it will be nice not to have that hanging over me for the next few weeksEst. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -

I am having a fun evening trawling through the up your income board. I have looked at medical trials (not sure how I feel about them and if i would dare do them) but most are based too far South so probably won't be viable. Might keep an eye on them just in case as I would be very up for trialling slimming pills, liposuction or botox.
I have just applied to join taste radar - not entirely sure what it entails other than commenting on taste of fruit and veg then getting £25 back for your shopping bill each month so has to be worth a shot!
we have been to halfords today and bought the twins their first proper bikes with money they were given by their great grandad for their birthdays and Christmas so looking forward to getting them all put together and seeing them play with them properly in the morningEst. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13Debt at Dec 2011 £27,499.09 (19.7% paid off)Working together with DH on our debts (twindad07)Long haulers supporters DFW #2560 -
