You're not the only sad one though.... you have no idea how much pleasure I get out of gettin my wages each week and putting £10 in each envelope for different funds. I'm not on the bingo anymore but when I won over 10p on the scratchcards... I was probably more excited than a friend that'd win £10 on a lottery scratchcard coz mine was free money to go towards my debts but she'd paid for her card plus would probably waste it on a takeaway.Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

hi twindad - you are not alone i think about money all the time, if only debts/loans per paid etc. It must be natural!

You were wondering about bingoport. First of all (unless its changed recently), you can post 10 times a day in the general forum and get 100 points a time. So that is 1000 points a day (oops just thought it might be 10 points a time I can't remember).
Then what i did was by 12 'tickets' for each game. I never seemed to win with 24 tickets or 6. Maybe it is my imagination!!! Often there are times of the day when the payout per game is raised. Try to get these ones as they are 2000 points a game. By doing this i reckon you could probably get an Amazon voucher (or whatever) every 10 days or so....
it is just a shame that they turned off the auto play feature, cos then you could just select the number of cards and it would play for about 1hour on its own!!!
Well done on the other debt busting. did the massive clearance of various parts of the house go to plan?
Ref big bits of kit, think also about free ads and gumtree to sell them on..
chevI want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Well today has been fun so far...
We left the house at 6:15 this morning, we left the drive at 6:45, we had to dig the car out and our neighbour had to help push.
Our childcare arrangements have changed again, the original plan was my parents would come down to us for 3 days childcare - that has never happened!! The revised plan is I meet my parents half way and they take the kids to theirs, if my dad is working early my mam comes down to us on the train. My dad was working early today so I expected to be picking my mam up from the train station, but she didn't want to get the train, no explanation - no alternative offered.
As we are teachers we have no options for taking extra days off, so we had to get the 3 kids up are 5:45 this morning and drive them all the way up and then collect them again tonight. I got to work at 8:35am.
I know I sound really ungrateful that they are doing 3 days free childcare, but this travelling was never the arrangement and had it have been the arrangement offered we would have gone down an alternative route, as it is we are now a bit stuck.
We can't afford nursery fees, we can't afford for my wife not to work.
We are looking at the costs involved in getting an au pair and maybe putting the debtbusting on hold to cover the costs.Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13

At the moment we spend about £250-300 a month on petrol with travel to work and parents using the car for the kids. If we didn't have to travel witht the kids we'd still spend about £200 a month on petrol to work, so although a saving it wouldn't cover childcare costs. Yesterday the arrangements were alot more reasonable, leaving house about 7am rather than 6:15am and today they have come down to ours.Est. debt free day April 2016 (ish) Debt at June 2010 £34,247.13

That definatley sounds better
im having trouble balancing my spreadsheet the numbers on that are not adding to the numbers available we are still in a +ve balance but not as much as was first though arghhhhh, on jans spreadsheet ive seperated things up so all direct debits from one bank account and i will make sure that is all available with a buffering of 20-30 quid to allow for potential higher direct debits such as phone bills etc althjough mines never yet been about 25 quid since i joined the o2 simplicity
according to my calculations im 26 pay days away from been unsecure debt free its just the secured debt that will remain for me and i suppose an unsecure loan tocover that may be something to consider x
