Bloody kids.....humph...
Just been a stressful couple of weeks, ending in my kids moaning cos I don't pay them enough attenion. The bit in bold is especially true pap, some of it I can link to my mental stuff, some of it is just me. I worry cos I have paranoia issues with damn near everyone and everything in the world, and I don't know how to break it. There's not a lot of additives in what I eat (well, in the sauces and takeaway there is) cos I have to make damn near everything from scratch. I don't know HOW to give myself a break, I don't know what the bloody word means when it comes to me

Try to live in the Now. Stop worrying about the future, stop worrying about things you have done, try to just deal with what is happening now.
Try to focus on giving to other people. Take the focus away from you towards them. So it becomes less about what they are thinking of you, what impression you have made on them, whether you have upset them, what they meant about you with that comment.
If you think about when you have a spot on your nose you are never thinking about the other person you are transfixed with that spot on your nose, that tomato ketchup drip down your top, that ladder just above your knee! People don't think about what is wrong with you, they are too busy thinking about what is wrong with themselves. They also don't think before they open their mouths or sometimes inadvertently say something. If they do say something really horrible it says volumes either about them as a person or their childhood.
I wrote myself a list of things I liked about myself up on the wardrobe door and would say that to myself every morning.....and it was more character and mental attributes than physical. It's nice to look nice and to think you look nice but your character is the really important bit.
Hope I haven't ballsed up by not reading the rest of the thread first.
