To be honest, I kind of expected it.
We are still going to go camping I think...and I did see them in April so not too upset tbh.

I just had a phone call from MBNA-bearing in mind I have had my DMP with CCCS since 2006-saying my CC was going to default and possibly go to a DC.

Erm, yeah? And? Was this a threat? I already have a CCJ, hundreds of black marks on my credit file, this is NOT a big deal!

And while you are at it, SOD OFF

  • Ummm life is quite frankly pants for me lately. So intead of sitting her feeling sorry for myself I have decided to do something :rotfl: So... Today will be the last day of my diet coke & fizzy straw diet :o If I have to take a pay cut in work I will apply for a different job (with said paycut) that I would rather be doing that stood serving coffee  Just because people say I can't/won't/shouldn't do this that or the other doesn't mean I have to listen to them ;) Just because I am in a 'dead end' job doesn't mean my imput and voice in life is any less than someone earning much more than me....

Its not a diet, its just what I have been eating for the past 5 days. Diet coke and Morrisons fizzy straws :o Not good, so not good. The effects the sugar has on my pcos is disastrous and the aspartame in the coke kick starts my depression. As you can tell not a very good mixture for Pap :rotfl:

    Afternoon all

I'm a happy bunny this afternoon, just worked out that all being well OH will not go overdrawn this month, which will hopefully put his account approx £200 better off next month (although we do both have birthdays), hopefully this is the first step to having more and more left over each month.

In other news I havent heard from the job I applied for yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for something soon as it would put us in a much better position financially, and at long last we'd be able to start saving to buy a house & take our dream holiday to Jamaica :)

Sorry to read that some of you are having rough days today, I hope things improve for you, and I'll help if I can.

    Lots of love

    Well,actually I can't-it's just as carp..need to get a grip too!

Biometric assesment lady says she can fix 99% of her patients...but I'm not one of them:(..she says I need to see someone way more qualified, and many £££££££.
    Debt-free...and staying that way...
  • Bunny - sorry to hear your dad can't make it over to France, but as you've said you saw him earlier in the year.

Claire - good luck with selling the stuff on ebay.

Butti - you will make the right choices.

PAP - sending lots and lots of hugs your way. As they say Rome wasn't built in a day and small steps is the right way to go about changing things.

As an aside, I feel rubbish. Me and the toilet bowl at work became friends for 5 mins, but on a brighter note it's the cleanest it's been for ages!
