anyone used consumer money matters to reclaim PPI

  • I would recommend that anyone that continues to receive calls from CMC's after you have registered with the TPS and expressley informed the CMC that you do not want to be contacted again, issues a claim against the CMC in question.

It can and has been done

    Don't forget

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

You can reclaim £1,000s on PPI yourself, easily, for free. Don't hand 30% to a no-win no fee claims handler. Everyone who's got or had a loan, credit or store card, catalogue, overdraft or car finance should check now if they were flogged these policies.

    So jog on !

Most of you on here seem to find it easier to blame a telemarketeer for your own short comings in negotiation and to report a co so easily to the relevant authorities is simply a waste of their time. Cold calling is not a crime, sales is not a crime and to look down on this co for those practices is actually incredibly stuck up!

Oh the irony. You dont like it when someone complains about a CMC doing wrong but CMCs are quite happy to put in waste of time complaints to other firms.

  • i currently work for CMM....well as im sat here now i am but in the morning i wont be.....were should i start #cowboys

after being promised a 100k a year job i defo had too look, they were honest n up front saying the job is hell for us (comsumer saving consultants), we got told there would be sold appointments for us,we NO COLD CALLING.....haha good joke, every clients house i went into, i got told they would not stop getting phone calls until someone came out.....

secondly most ppl didnt even have a bloody loan so i was driving 100+ miles to be driving back 10mins later, im an honest, straight talking hard working guy and some of the tactics they wanted me too use were....just unthinkable for me....

i could be here all day but.....just dont waste ur time guys honestly, conmen, cowboys...call CMM what you want its true,

i no il get a reply from some guy who works in the company saying....hes just one guy whos unhappy blah blah blah, after having a look on google about reviews on CMM, there always one guy (who blatently working for the company) who trys n turns things around so they look like the good guys.

im just an honest guy trying to earn a nice living n it wouldnt be right for me just too walk away without warning people, even tho i was 100% honest with ALL of my clients, putting there name on my CV i feel sick and disguested.

For the work CMM actually do, its easier to do it yourself with 100%.....ok 99% less hassel
  • Ok, I've been reading through this thread and an now really worried that I've been sucked in.
Back in December I agreed to enter into contract with Key Finacial Claims (KFC) as the guy came round and I signed all the forms etc. No upfront free.

Yesterday I get a call from my bank about the PPI claim as is being inverstigated. They asked me questions that they should already know the answer to (I twigged later after the call)
Questions like which branch was the loan taken out from, what was the amout, what date was it etc.
He then asked about my employement at around the time of taking the loan out and if I was entitled to sick pay etc..
I answered don't remeber too all the questions and I paniced (honestly, coulnt remeber at the time..)
There was some meantion that I have some other form financial protection?? Really? That information could only have come from KFC (which is untrue...)
What should I do? Is this going to harm my claim. If I cancel with KFC will it harm my future chance for the same claim if I go and do it alone?
The bank said they would ring bank on monday as I agreed I could get some details of what my sick benifits were at my previose employement (I'm still employed but with a different company)
    What should I do??

No need to repeat yourself, your first post was perfectly adequate.
  • I used to work for them, and left because of some of the things they do, get on to Martins page and do it yourself, or ring the Financial Ombudsman Services, they are very helpful and you will get what your entitled to, I could tell you stories about these people that would make you shudder, thats why I left them, please beware these people.
