Good for you, you go for it, any help needed just take a look here.Had a call from these yesterday but i was on my way out and she agreed to phone me back today....basically she wasnt taking no for an answer and insisited that if i had ppi or loan insurance they could help claim it back. I was getting a bit peed off with listening to the bull she was chatting so I said to her...right i'll stop you there! And I went on to tell her that if i want any advise on claiming ppi or any other monies back I would do it myself for free with the aid of Money saving expert.com and politely said my goodyes.
Now i have been meaning to get round to doing this ppi claim back and at least she has given me a timely reminder cos hell do I need the money so at least it was good for one thing.....now wheres that Sars letter gone ?

After several phone calls I had a guy come to me today who tried to get me to sign papers for a refund of PPI. I told him I would think about it. He also rang his 'BOSS' and they said they would waive the fee. I told him that I would check it out and get back to him and if I was happy then I would pay the £120. I am so glad I came straight onto this site. They will not be getting any money from me. I have seen the form to download and shall waste the price of the stamp instead. Thank you everyone for their posts on here.0

I am so gutted I did not see this before. I had a guy at my house for over 2 hours yesterday, he went from PPI to pensions to wills then chit chat. When I questioned payments and fees he got his boss on the phone. I have had no sleep, been in tears and am so scared I am never going to get out of this. I sent 2 recorded delivery letters, one to them the other to Key Financial Claims, this morning cancelling all agreements as per the 14 day cooling off period and have left a message on the guys phone, but I am so scared they will find a loophole, say they have not had the letters or I will get a big bill. I am going to CAB on Monday. Now I have read finacial claims are not regulaed I am even more worried.0

left another message this morning. Guy phoned me and told me he had told his boss and nothing would go through. Will now just have to wait for all the phone calls I am bound to get. Contacted credit card and loan company to tell them I have cancelled. What a dreadful weekend and what a lesson learned, I will NEVER let anyone in with or without an appointment ever again. I like to think I am an intelligent and savvy woman but just shows how anyone can be caught out.0

Wishing you luck on this and hope all sorts out soon and that the CAB will help you every step of the way on this one, please keep us posted though, thanks and fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"

I have been receiving calls from this company for around 6 months - I have politely told them no - I have rudely told them no - I have told them I have moved to London, I have told them I was dead last week - tonight they rang again.
This company seems to go by a couple different names one of the others being moneyexpert.com - a disgrace they use such a similar name to Martyns website - they have tried to get me to claim ppi and other things - they DO NOT take NO for an answer - I have reported them to office of fair trading and the information comissioners office. I have written to them and told them to remove my number from their system which I don't know how they got in the first place - they lie with the answers - even tried telling me I have insurance with them - I don't. They ignore this. They are very good in making me feel it is "my fault" they have contacted me - while at the same time trying to act like a "friend" - evil company and their sister company is the same !!!!!! - give them nothing !!!!!0 -

That seems a little extreme. Did you ever ask them to remove your number when they called? Or speak to a manger when they called for the second time. Calls like this are very easily stopped and now you've written to them I expect your details will be taken off their calling list.
Also Consumer Money Matters doesn't go by the name Money Expert, they're a different company.0 -

I don't think you have anything to worry about. And why contact the loan and credit card company, are you not pursuing the claims?0 -
Loan and credit card companie have been great and one even adivised me to use Martins form!
As for the others, it was worth the cost (£4 each) of 2 special delivery letters and the threat of further action if they contacted me about anything other than the cancellation. Nothing further heard from them, panic over. Have also reported them to the relevant authorities.
Good luck to all others who have dealings or are being harrassed by them.0 -

Seems like they acted pretty well. You called to cancel, they called you back first thing Monday morning, told you everything would be cancelled and it was. Since then you've had no further calls from them. If only all companies were that efficient.0
