Grantalien I can't comment on Nationwide, but BoS did something similar to us a while back, never received any court papers even though the letter said 'We are starting court action'. So probably just trying to scare you.[/QUOTE]
I have a feeling its not a bluff but only time will tell - not sure what else i can do really - take my punishment and hopefully avoid a CO.:cool:0 -

How much do you owe them?
Costs the banks a lot to take it to court and judge will see that you've been trying and paying so more than likely agree with what you're already paying.0 -

on the card they are taking to court its just under 3k - we have 2 with nationwide but nothing on the other one - i owe a lot in total - looking at 2016  with 58k in total  they are getting about £37.21pcm on this card. to be honest nationwide represents a small % of our total debt0 -
Letters sent to all creditors today (no signature, as advised), all sent 'signed for' and pack sent off to CCCS with all the paperwork etc.
Sent a seperate letter for each debt (two with MBNA and three with First Direct, plus the Egg on) so was a bit more expensive than I thought, but don't want to give them any excuses!
So roughly how long does everything take to get started?

Hi Sarah, well done, another big step taken in the right direction. It may be possible but tight to have your payment with CCCs by the 1st August, they distribute on 25th August. Otherwise it will be the same dates in September. I was set up with CCCS in a number of days, I'd say you will have it all back by next Monday possibly sooner. Do you have a dmp number rather than a webcode with them yet?hi there, have set up a DMP and i am currently waiting for the creditors reply's to stop adding interest, if they dont agree, where does that leave me? worried that debt collectors will come knocking, has anybody had debt collectors at door although you were making DMP payments?? many thanks
Hi. Welcome to the thread. I read back through the past few hundred pages of this and the thread before when I started, it was such a great help. DMP are informal arrangements, no guarantees but generally a significant proportion of the Preditors do reduce or stop interest but this can take a number of months so your debt may go up before it goes down. Highly unlikely you will get debt collectors at your door, usually all boils down to scare tactics. The debtline website is very good for explaining this. Good luck with your start up and let us know how you get on.

I have a CCCS client ref number, as opposed to the Wxxxxxx I had before, and had to quote it on all the letters... so in short, yes I think so!

I was lucky that I already had a Scalifax acc that's not linked to anything, so I started the switch over when I knew my wages were gonna get eaten by my OD!
