Hi all, not been here for a while, got some SERIOUS catching up to do!!
Question: I received a County Court claim form for one of my MBNA debts... CCCS website says to fill the form and send it back, which I will do today. Where it asks for debts to be listed, should I put my CCCS details is what I'm paying each creditor, and my CCCS reference number?
Thanks

Yes - It will also state that you are to send the form back to MBNA and not the court, do this but.... send a copy to the court as well - it may well prevent a redetermination if the court has both sides at the outset. I had this with Nationwide and my original CCJ was set at £120pcm:eek: - I had been paying £30 - have requested a redetermination now but may have prevented this if the court had the income/expenditure and offers in the 1st place. I would also send a covering letter to the court setting out the efforts that you have made in negotiating and what payments you have been making (if indeed you have been) - ask for all this to be added to your case notes. Others may know a lot more but this has been my experience as I am sure creditors send no information to the court about the defendants ability to pay when requesting the CCJ.0 -
Hi we are still getting daily telephone harrassment from Vanquis Credit Card including one at 8 am this morning where the man firstly asked for my husband by just his first name and then was very rude and shouted over him. My husband asked him not to call again but to put everything in writing. Should we now send a letter by recorded delivery asking to be only contacted in writing? We are currently setting up a DMP with CCCS and Vanquis are fully aware of this as my husband has told them on numerous occasions but we still keep getting calls and texts. Thanks for any advice. Hope everyone is ok.
Since posting I have just received another call today from Vanquis asking for my husband (who's now at work), I made it clear that he does not want to take any more calls and would they now put everything in writing. They asked for this in writing which I will now do (here's hoping we will finally get somewhere)!!!Halifax Loan £6,511, Halifax O/D £1,300
Next Catalogue £576.66, Capital One £397.31Vanquis £266, Marshall Ward £656.04, Argos Card £1300.:( Plus 3 Payday Loans  NEVER AGAIN!!0 -

Well done for taking the first steps. We're still learning & waiting for payments to be accepted but don't regret a moment. Love living within our means however tight things may be.
Onwards & upwards.:)DMP mutual support member 3970 -

Well my DMP is progressing.
Just had another call from PP - Pedro has arranged my telephone meeting for tomorrow night where we will go over the budget they have given us, and to be honest the allowances seem generous (especially when we have been living 'on the breadline' for so long)
There's even allowances for such luxury's as haircuts etc. (the last time the kids needed a haircut i had to sell my mobile)
Roll on DMP.LBM = 10/10/10
Debt at [STRIKE]14/10/10 = £56936.28[/STRIKE] --- 17/04/12 = £49673.01

It did say to send to MBNA yes, but I will do as you've suggested. Thank you

Roll on DMP.
Hope all goes well with your set-up interview. The budget allowed is usually tough but fair.
Although discussed in the past you probably aren't aware (as most new to the DMP 'money saving' club won't be) you can wangle a free or vastly reduced 'do' by being a training guinea-pig for a local college or salon:) (applies to children as well.) Takes longer to cut but the trainees are well supervised, and you won't be sent out looking like a dog's dinner.
I have been a 'model' (Oooh get me :rotfl:) for years at S*ks. I have a £40-00+++ cut for the price of a tip to the lass who is training.
Well worth investigating in your area.
