Blimey that must have been scarey.
    You handled it very well.
    Well done you

    Thanks Beanie,

Actually, not as scary as I would have expected!

I didn't really have much time to think about it - just answered the door without thinking and then just reacted when I realised where he was from!

However, I think I was lucky in getting a non-aggressive one. Doubt I will be so lucky if or when it happens again.

But I am dining out on it on the thread now!

What a pain - all this switching about and cancelling programmes.

It's very quiet on here tonight - think everyone must be watching England.

Going to find some recorded programmes on my digi-box!

    Hope you enjoyed Eastenders, Di.

It is spookily quiet on here!

Perhaps they will appear when the football finished - although I think a lot of them watch it in the pub. Which means they will be celebrating or commiserating ....

    Thanks SW,

Nasty (and VERY big) guy didn't actually get the chance to say very much. As soon as he said where he was from I interrupted him and told him that the account was in dispute and I would only deal with them in writing! Then he just gave me a letter and left!

It is very quiet here, as well. Have just been watching an old episode of Law and Order UK which I recorded yonks ago and never got round to watching. I can fast forward through the adverts by doing that!

Have a nice weekend with your parents - and try to enjoy the football.

    Night, night!

    Hi SW

I'm feeling very tired, and "hoping" for an earlier night if I can, hubby just gone to work, nights all weekend and he double backs to afternoons on Monday, a rush sleep job shift.

And thank you, if the money is not refunded by Monday I will be on their backs again.

Have a lovely time with your parents as well.:A Sweet dreams X

    Am just off to bed.

The football result has been on the news - apparently England were abysmal!
