You are not wrong there, Di.

Thanks Jinny,
Words much appreciated!
And BIG is the operative word - except he was very polite! Wondering if it might get worse, though?[/QU
hi again ann well its like me with the tele pests once youve seen one off the rest is easy just like school bullies really. I once went to a advice centre about my debts years ago the first person i saw was really good and said you have to treat debt collectors like vampires they cant come into your home without you inviting them in but once you do thats bad. It was a church charity advice centre and the volunteers were well meaning but not really experienced enough one was only 20 and lovely but not up to the job. thank goodness for MSE eh tried to get some bagged up pennies changed to get some food in but local shops didnt want to know. will have to wait till monday now to get to the bank dont worry though have enough to eat- just. just wanted a bit extra thats all.
That's a very good point, Jinny!
The first one is always the worst! And any more DO get sent there is very little point in not answering the door/ignoring them - because they will keep coming back and that will then create a mental barrier. Love the vampie analogy!
Regarding your coins - our local Tesco has a machine where you can put all your coins into and then it gives you vouchers which can be spent in store. Think some other shops have them - worth a try? And it's sometimes easier to deal with machines!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

That's very short-sighted of your local shop!
You would think they would recognise you as a good customer - my local paper shop always make a poin of greeting me by name and are mega-friendly. Only thing is, they are mega-expensive as well! But OK for newspapers, lottery tickets, etc. - as they are the same in most places!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Hi Mouseann
I'd love a brief update if you have time x
Hi Woowoo,
Brief summary.
Of my 18 accounts
13 unenforceable
4 still waiting CCAs - since middle of April!!!
1 enforceable - but Niddy is working on this one!
However, I am not being complacent about this - the banks are just not going to give up and have already had one doorstep visit - yesterday!
But, I am still being positive about my situation!
Hope this answers your question."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0
