    Hi Swanfan,

What's your views on the football situation?

    Hi SW

I'm sure all will go fine for you.;) The very best of luck to you. X

School reunions - :j, I missed out on my last one, as I had a damn water infection but hear there is another to be arranged soon.

Yours is the day after my birthday.:)

    MSE meetup??

    Sounds like fun.:D

Weather been kinder to us today, where yesterday late afternoon it thrown it down, so the lawns are done today now once again.;)

You too have a lovely evening XX

Weather has been dire here all day!

Raining and freezing cold - and it is getting colder!

Reading the posts about the MSE meet-ups i did wonder whether some of us could perhaps meet up for a day in London? I can easily do it from here and back in one day - what does anyone else think?

Could be quite a cheap day out - train and tube fares, and then just somewhere to eat (and drink?)

Perhaps mid-September, after everyone has had their holiday? (Well, those that are going to have any!)

    Just an idea!

    Hi Di,

If you do start a new thread I will come and "lurk" on it!

I think you are right about the regulations changing on this. There was some publicity, somewhat along the lines you mention, in that companies were buying these properties and then putting the screws on the former owners when they became owners.

But, no harm in finding out more about it!

    Hi Ann

Yes I will start a new thread.;)

    Cheers.

London sounds fab to me. It is only up the road for me. I used to visit all the time in my old job as i had loads of free time. I was watching Cameroon (my team) 00020667.gif with my dad. He was massaging my head so i would sleep properly i feel so spoilt. Cameroon have fab clothes (really bright socks) but no one is doing any somersaults (dont know how to spell it).

Dad said Spain are out and it is between Brazil and Argentina.
