Sorry to change the subject my friends.........

Does anyone know if those buy and rent back schemes are any good?

I do understand that they now have to be regulated by the FSA.

    Thank you.:)

    Hi Di,

Haven't heard about them lately. I had actually toyed with that option myself.

Is it worth starting a new thread to ask about it? Not really where the best place would be, though. Would be very interested in knowing more myself ,,,

Of course, Niddy may know something - when he gets back.

Ann, that is actually a good idea.;)

Its just another option really if the worse came to the worse, but you hear all these different stories that some have done this, only to be told they were selling their propertly to someone else, so always best to get advice on these matters me thinks.:D

Know in Niddy, he will know LOL.;)

I dont know anything about them. I think this is Fitz and Swanfan!!!

0002044F.gif but they must remember it is just a game. And to do happy things so they dont get down.

In less than a month i move out and the builders move in. Hooray!!!! Then i shall have a nice house with no furniture!!! But as long as i have a telly and computer i shan't mind. Is anyone doing anything over the summer?

My school reunion on the 31st July (in London) has been changed to August. Are any of you girlies going to the MSE meetup in Manchester? I can't really justify going unless I am going to meet someone i know. Plus i will be scared of anyone other than you girlies as i am a chicken.

All is well here. Weather is glorious despite the forecast that it might rain. I feel happy today. I hope you all have a good evening.

    love sw.

    Hi SW

I'm sure all will go fine for you.;) The very best of luck to you. X

School reunions - :j, I missed out on my last one, as I had a damn water infection but hear there is another to be arranged soon.

Yours is the day after my birthday.:)

    MSE meetup??

    Sounds like fun.:D

Weather been kinder to us today, where yesterday late afternoon it thrown it down, so the lawns are done today now once again.;)

You too have a lovely evening XX

    Hi Di,

If you do start a new thread I will come and "lurk" on it!

I think you are right about the regulations changing on this. There was some publicity, somewhat along the lines you mention, in that companies were buying these properties and then putting the screws on the former owners when they became owners.

But, no harm in finding out more about it!

    Never mind the telly, SW!

You need a computer so that you can keep in touch with all of us!

No important plans for the summer - except I will be house-sitting for son (looking after animals) in 4 weeks time. I am going to be away for nearly 3 weeks - no nasty post or visitors! But loads waiting for me when I get back!
