Are we all so 'sad'?

I am also addicted to MSE so if you are all sad, then so am I.
I have MSE as my home page so it is the first site I come on when I go online.

I usually have busy work schedules out and about in London, but I'm also at home a lot inputting my reports online. At the same time I visit MSE`every couple of pages to break the boredom, and although I belong to another forum as well, I find MSE sucks me in every time...:rolleyes:Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0

I'm so addicted to this! I can't help signing on every time I put the comp on. I'm sure if it wasn't for this site my disertation would be finnished! But I wouln't have a clear get out of debt plan!0

Another addict with an MSE start page here. My favourite reads are the threads started by DFWs saying that they can't believe the amazing dent they've made in their debts, and how it all looks so very manageable now. These are all the more enjoyable if I can remember reading the poster's original 'This is hopeless' thread. I guess I just love a success story
In contrast with some of the other experiences mentioned here, I do have more sleepless nights now, lots more. Pre-MSE, I'd have worn myself out by bedtime with the mental effort of just worrying about it all. Now, virtually every MSE day brings with it new ways of saving money, and often new ways of making some more too. Each night my brain is still firing on all cylinders well into the early hours with thoughts of all the productive things I've done today, and all those I want to be doing tomorrow. I've had insomnia in the past, but I've never been 'paid' for it before until now
Martin, you have made a huge difference to me and mine. Multiply that by the number of other MSE'rs, and the impact is just totally unimaginable.
From a sad MSEr (and proud of it, lol), thank you SO muchEek! Someone's stolen my signature! :eek:0 -
Em..... does using a computer in the business zone of a hotel in Brussels, even though it had a silly french keyboard, so I could see what was happening, make me an addict?

If finding out about bank charges (Total of approx £9000 coming back), Quidco and cost effective solutions make me sad then I am happy and dont care about anyone else. My DMP had another 8 yeras to go, however with the above will probably be just another 2 if that.
I have made many friends on here and yes I dont know them at all, but I would rather them than some woman a thousand miles away telling me(and countless others) how sexy I am and wants to move over with me just to get into the country...now thats sad!0 -
