Are we all so 'sad'?

Every morning, when I am having my breakfast, I sit at the computer and go through this website. I sometimes get late for work (well, nearly everyday) because I was reading something on this site.
Here I am doing the same today and notice that several people have already posted. Are we desperately 'sad' or just simply hooked?
I think we are hooked, I know I am! Having a cyber community is great for me. I get more from you guys than I do from all my friends and family put together. Your support and your encouragement for everyone has kept many a person sane.
Thank you all. It doesn't cover the amount of input you all have but what else can I say? Thanks, thanks, thanks...

Another addict here. I should be doing my housework but this always seems far more appealing!!

Yep ... another addict here too ... but would much rather be addicted to this site than sites where you keep spending money !!!!Mortgage Total: £50,720/ £75,000

Have to confess I do the same. I use it as time to wake up in, which might explain why I don't make much sense in the mornings on here.The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0

Yes I'm another addict (Stands up and says "I'm addicted to MSE") Its alwasy the first thing I look at online and even now I should be packing (moving house next monday EEEPPP!) but I'm just sat on my bed with my laptop looking at everything not packed and not thinking about it!!! Oh well its not a bad thing.Just trying to be me.....0

I agree. I waste far too much time on here when I should be doing something else to raise money. Oh well, you have to relax sometime, you can't work all the time.
That's my excuse anyway.0 -
Me too !
Every weekend, it is my little treat to make toast and tea and browse this site (mostly this forum
)
It is highly addictive because of it's community spirit and it helps us to realise we are not alone in our struggles.
:T to MSE and all other addicts0 -
I come when I can because I like the wealth of information and the diversity of opinions and so many great people being around. I don't come when I can't. I'm not working today so I decided to share my breakfast with the screen.
Yeah, I am hooked.'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
