it's been really comforting to realise I'm not alone with my debt and sleepless nights. Actually, I was relying on winning the lottery :o:o but, sense has prevailed and I am now intending to do it the MSE way. I love this site and it's definitely a daily habit. Thanks everyone.
Lotto, my way of thinking too, when we do win the lottery it will be a bonus though :D
Hate the sleepless nights, not like anything you can do at 2.17am is there ?

I confess to not being totally mse in my ways yet!! but when I go to buy something will STOP &THINK, before I buy it. Invariably put it back and not buy it unless essential.
  • My phone line went on the blink on Thursday and has just been repaired this morning. The first thing I did was to log on here.

Sad? Maybe. I've actually had a fairly productive weekend reading books instead of being on here. But hell I've missed you all!

I've been a member of a lot of virtual communities, and I think this one is by far the most useful, whilst also still being welcoming and fun :) Plus the way spammers / scam artists are dealt with quickly is really good.

Hey, I'm addicted to breathing too - not all addictions are bad, right? :)

  • There are far worse things to be addicted to. Something I wish we could organise is a reality check for people before they get into unnecessary debt. I have never been in that position myself but one of my sons has, things are getting better for him now.

I am also addicted to MSE so if you are all sad, then so am I.

I have MSE as my home page so it is the first site I come on when I go online.

Everyone is so friendly and full of good advice and although my debts are quite small compared to a lot of people on here,I have picked up so many helpfull tips on saving money that I am quite obsessive about it now and I won't spend a penny more than I have too.

    Long live Martin and MSE.
