    Not me inforeq.

There’s been loads of good advice posted here. Most people have taken it in good stride, I presume.

So are you going with number 4 then? Or is it just going to be more of the petulant 6-year old?

you would like me to leave as I turn your sad little worlds around on here and give as good as you laybabouts dish out.

You are all in need of a serious reality check, people have been scammed by IPG (i for one am slightly more savvy and not paid them anything).

I have supported those and offered advise about using their bank etc - its up to them if they wish to act.

I like the way you have removed your post- unfortuantly I had copied it before you could delete it.

In a word to you - PI@@ Off! and good day, I am off on my holidays now to Canada!

I did not remove a post or posts. I’m mystified as to why your frequent offensive insults remain, and my innocent post (which you helpfully quoted) gets removed.

Feel free to continue with the insults such as the mindnumbingly brilliant
    PI@@ Off!
though. The mods for some weird reason obviously favour childish retorts rather than thoughtful and supportive posts. I clearly misunderstand the MSE ethos.

I’ve never posted offensively, and certainly never racistly.

    Never will…

    I don't understand it either.
  • Hi All

I have just found this forum after googling Property Investment Group. Guess what? I too have been duped. Call me stupid, gullible, naive anything you like, but I am not normally a stupid person and I am normally very suspicious of things too good to be true but hey they said what I wanted to hear and desperation took over.
I have now contacted the police and they are supposed to be calling me back, but not sure what they will do.

I am now £1300 down and still struggling to pay my mortgage, even though I have since moved out of the property. I was going to rent it as I moving in with my new husband, however this call come after having my house on the market for 5 months and it was what i thought was the answer to my prayers. They gave a realistic valuation of 279,000 and Mr Capello offered 270,000. I took it and even though when they said I had to pay the fee upfront which I could not afford and had to borrow I still went ahead out of sheer desperation. The transaction was going very slow even though my solicitor was doing her best to speed things up. I started ringing investpg and no one was returning my calls, when I did finally speak to Leon Sanchez he assured everything was fine and mumbled something about the buyer having to switch the purchase to his girlfriend due to capital gains tax. Then my solicitor rang the buyers solicitor and discovered he had not paid his search fee and not shown his ID (surprise, surprise).
Now all you get is an answer phone message!
Anyway if anybody does find any information out about the company or its owners, staff. I would love to pass this onto the police.
    :)

What racist posts? There were no racist posts. That is an outright lie. And most of the hate came from yourself, this being just one example of many:

Those posting up plans about what to do should bear in mind IPG have monitored this discussion from day one, and used certain posts to give themselves a veneer of respectability. Publicly saying what legal/police actions you are planning will only keep these scammers one step ahead of the law.
    Been away for a while.

In case anyone is coming into this thread right at the end, the simple advice is just to avoid IPG like the plague if they have contacted you.

Good advice bumped for others to heed.

Kelly, I am really sorry that you too were caught out by IPG. they seem to have been picking on the most desperate people, and by all accounts they were very convincing.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Nobody's going to call you any of those things. They are very convincing with their patter, and it's very easy to fall for it.

Really hope that the police are able to retrieve something for you and others who have been caught. Do contact the fraud reporting sites that have been mentioned earlier in the thread as well.

Unfortunately it seems they made a nice earner from this scam. Shame. Just remember... the housing market is just that. If you put your house up for view to thousands of people.... (rightmove/agent etc) why would 1 individual be able to offer you a better deal? And why wouldn't they have gone through the agent?

Answer... it was too good to be true. Put your house back with an agent, knock off 10% and try again... then it will sell.
