I succumbed to a salon bikini wax before CP last week. the only appt they had was at 7pm after my Aunties Funeral. I was going to ask my Mum to watch them, but she was still at the do, so I took the kids.
Being girls of 4 and 5, they watched in awe - or "Oww!! Hahaha!" as little DD laughed after every rip :rotfl: I was mortified, so they went out in the waiting room after the first few strips.
I felt like I was giving birth in front of them - scarred for life! :D:o

IMD, what "enterprising new diet" are you doing?

I can't believe that I missed your new diary.

I know how you feel about large incomes, large debt, OH not really engaging , wheres the money gone, guilt about the kids etc etc. You CAN do this, slowly and steadily in baby steps as someone has mentioned.

Looking forward to the updates on the new diary - Go Girl :T

Had a lovely time at the wedding :D I was Mrs Sober and whilst we spent some money it wasn't horrendous and we had a really really good time. My feet have spent the whole day in heels and I have a race this morning - ooh err

When I get back today I have to get my stuff on ebay as I have a decent amount of stuff I can put on. Car (older one) started showing a stupid warning light last night so we need to get that checked which will mean more money but hopefully nothing horrendous!

Hoping for a cheap week this week now - fingers crossed!

Did my race and even for me did pretty well, knocked 30 mins off what I thought my time would be. Really really tough race, but ran with a friend and finished - result! After the wedding and then the small achievement today I realised that I actually haven't obsessed over my debt this weekend :j

It's on my mind when we buy things and stick to the budget but have been mentally more stable these last two days :p think it must be about spending time with friends and family, that's what matters more than anything. Been a good weekend to take perspective.

So :j:j:j:j:j I am absolutely cream crackered, horrendously in debt but happy today :D
